The 2025 Critics Choice Awards will be held as planned, despite several delays caused by the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.

Originally scheduled for January 12, the annual ceremony was rescheduled to January 26 due to Santa Ana winds that exacerbated the fires in the greater L.A. area. The wildfires have devastated businesses, schools, and homes, leading to the evacuation of thousands and claiming at least 25 lives.

Deadline later announced a second postponement, moving the event to February, with no specific date yet confirmed.

Among those affected by the fires are Adam Brody, who received a nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for Netflix’s Nobody Wants This. The show garnered four nominations in total, including Best Comedy Series and Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Kristen Bell. Reportedly, Brody, 45, and his wife, Leighton Meester, lost their home in the devastation.
