Absolutely, chef! “The Bear” is indeed coming back for Season 4.

The stage is set, but we’re eagerly awaiting news on the premiere of this Emmy-winning, tension-filled culinary series.

Very little has been revealed about what audiences can anticipate as Carmy Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), Richie Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and the rest of the team at The Bear continue to elevate their fine-dining restaurant.

Here’s everything we know (up to now) about Season 4 of “The Bear.”

When is ‘The Bear’ Season 4 set to premiere?

Currently, there is no confirmed premiere date.

However, a March 2025 video from Hulu teased various upcoming shows, including the next season of “The Bear.” The show was featured in the “coming this Spring” segment and showcases snippets from Season 4 around the 35-second mark.

“Sometimes I feel like your work family is part of your family, family,” Sydney expresses in the clip.

What can we expect from ‘The Bear’ Season 4?

Details about the plot for “The Bear” Season 4 are still under wraps. However, it’s likely that Carmy and the team will face The Chicago Tribune’s restaurant review, as well as navigate financial matters.

Is it possible that Sydney might leave The Bear to work with chef Adam (Adam Shapiro)?

Season 4 may also delve deeper into Carmy’s personal life and his strained relationships with Richie and Claire.

Moss-Bachrach mentioned in a September 2024 interview with Rolling Stone that he has insights into Richie’s future direction.

“I know where he’s headed. There are many elements introduced in the third season that will come to fruition in the fourth season,” he said. “I believe it will be a very exciting, chaotic, and cathartic season, and I’ll leave it at that.”

Who’s returning for ‘The Bear’ Season 4?

Fans can look forward to seeing their beloved characters, along with potential surprise appearances, in the fourth season.

Here’s a list of expected returnees:

Jeremy Allen White (Carmy), Ayo Edebiri (Sydney), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Richie), Liza Colón-Zayas (Tina), Abby Elliott (Natalie/Sugar), Lionel Boyce (Marcus), and Matty Matheson (Neil Fak), among others.

What occurred in ‘The Bear’ Season 3?

In Season 3 of “The Bear,” Carmy and his team manage to get the restaurant up and running, facing a host of challenges including negotiations, conflicts, finances, and communication issues.

Carmy opts for daily menu changes, which frustrates both the staff and himself.

Marcus faces the loss of his mother, Sugar welcomes her baby and shares an intimate moment with her mom, Donna (Jamie Lee Curtis), before going into labor, and Sydney receives a job offer from chef Adam.

The season closes with Carmy, Sydney, and Richie attending the Ever closing dinner. Richie helps with the service, while Sydney enjoys interactions with several guest chefs. Carmy confronts his former boss David Fields (Joel McHale) about past abuse in his kitchen, to which David responds that Carmy should thank him for making him a better chef.
