Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Faith Ward Shares Her Thoughts on Wearing the Uniform
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Faith Ward was absolutely thrilled to don the squad’s uniform.
On Monday, August 4, Ward, 22, took to TikTok to showcase her joyful reaction as she wore the iconic blue-and-white uniform for the very first time. In the video, Ward, the sole cheerleader permitted to sport a ponytail during games, stepped back to admire herself on camera. She radiated happiness, turning to display every angle of her outfit. Ward then twirled, letting her voluminous hair swirl around as she covered her mouth, gasping with excitement over how she looked.
“Baby Faith would be screaming rn🥹💙 #dcc #dccfaith,” she captioned her post. Fans quickly flooded the comments with praise for the dancer.
“WOAH! The uniform looks insane with a ponytail,” one commenter noted. Another added, “The ponytail is ICONIC and looks amazing with the uniform! You’ll slay this season,” while a third remarked, “It looks like it was made for you!!!”
Ward previously explained why she’s the only member of the team allowed to wear a ponytail while the others maintain their hair down and styled in voluminous curls.
The New Zealand native disclosed that the recruitment team was introduced to her with a ponytail in her headshot. “I’ve been hearing a lot of tales, and I’m here to set the record straight,” she stated in her social media post.

Ward then pointed to a portrait of her headshot behind her. “As you can see here, that’s how it all started. That’s how they found me. That’s how they saw me, and I guess they just preferred me with my hair up rather than down,” she remarked.
She noted that her updo made its first appearance during training camp earlier that month and mentioned that there wasn’t “that much tea to it.”
