Demi Lovato Weds Jordan Lutes in Stunning Vivienne Westwood Gown
Demi Lovato has officially gotten married!
As reported by Vogue, Lovato, 32, exchanged vows with fiancé Jordan “Jutes” Lutes around 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 25, in California. The magazine shared images of Lovato in a stunning pearl-white, floor-length gown designed by Vivienne Westwood on its Instagram account.
A detailed article from the outlet noted that Lovato, engaged to Jutes since December 2023, walked down the aisle in a dress “crafted with heavy silk fabric and featuring a corset bodice.” Lovato shared her long-standing admiration for Vivienne Westwood’s designs, stating, “I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood’s designs for a long time.”
For the reception, Lovato changed into “an ivory silk satin column dress with a draped corset top, also by Vivienne Westwood.”
Lovato expressed her excitement to marry Jutes in an Instagram post on Valentine’s Day, stating, “The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that. I’m obsessed with your heart, your love, and your light. I can’t wait to grow old with you and start a family together 🥹🥹 Happy Valentine’s Day to the love of my life. I love you honey!!!”
The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer shared with Us Weekly that her relationship with Jutes has been transformative. “Being in a supportive relationship is incredibly rewarding. No matter what endeavors we pursue, I know my partner will always have my back,” she said in March. “Whether it’s my health goals or just staying hydrated, being in a supportive relationship makes a big difference.”
Vogue also disclosed that Lovato and Jutes held a rehearsal dinner the night before their wedding, with event planner Mindy Weiss orchestrating the weekend’s festivities and serving as master of ceremonies.
Lovato described her gown design inspiration, mentioning, “When I envisioned the dress style I wanted, I often returned to Vivienne’s designs—especially how the silhouettes accentuate body curves and her use of corsets.” She complemented the gown with “a custom-length cathedral-style veil made from ivory tulle.”
The gown underwent five fittings with a couture team from Los Angeles who traveled from London to create the perfect fit.
Lovato was similarly involved in the detailing of her reception dress. “The beading on the reception dress was approached with meticulous care,” she shared. “The pearl detailing and draping are particularly special, with each strand being meticulously draped and attached by hand, making it a truly unique piece that holds great significance for me.”
