Denise Richards’ Daughter Lola Sheen Reveals Why She Paused Before Entering Reality TV
Lola Sheen, the daughter of Denise Richards, has decided to embrace faith and courage as she stepped into the world of reality television.
“I’m a follower of Jesus… [and] I really contemplated this decision with the Lord, thinking, ‘I don’t want to misrepresent you to others, but this is an opportunity to illuminate His light,’” Lola, now 19, disclosed to Us Weekly ahead of the premiere of Denise Richards and Her Wild Things on Tuesday, March 4. “Ultimately, I made the choice to go ahead.”
One of the primary obstacles for Lola was her strained relationship with her elder sister, Sami Sheen.
For almost a year, the sisters were at odds on social media, frequently clashing over a myriad of issues.
“As sisters, we do argue, but during that period, there were issues between us, and I didn’t want to convey the wrong message about Christ,” Lola elaborated. “That made me hesitant, but I came to terms with my imperfections.”

In the series Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, Richards, who is 54 years old, permitted cameras to trail her as she managed her career as a working actress, her marriage to Aaron Phyphers, and her life as a public figure. Alongside sisters Sami, 20, and Lola—whom she shares with ex-husband Charlie Sheen—Richards also became a mother to adopted daughter Eloise, now 13, in 2011.
“I wanted my daughters to be genuinely interested in participating, and I feel this is a great time in their lives,” Richards expressed to Us. “They’ve always been somewhat in the background as ‘the daughters of,’ and now it’s their opportunity to step forward and shine as Sami and Lola.”
While Lola was initially reticent, Sami was ready to embrace the spotlight.
“I’m the complete opposite,” Sami remarked regarding her sister’s concerns. “I’ve been eager for a reality show for a long time, and I’m thrilled that we finally have our own. Filming has been incredibly fun, and I absolutely love it.”

Before the audience tunes in, Richards emphasized that her life is far from flawless. Nevertheless, she feels that her family’s experiences will resonate with many viewers.
“I aimed for us to just live our lives,” Richards stated, discussing the show’s objective. “At the end of the day, I’m a mom facing challenges like many others, managing sibling dynamics and allowing my kids to mature and find their independence. There’s plenty in our show that many can relate to.”
Denise Richards and Her Wild Things will debut on Bravo on Tuesday, March 4, at 9 p.m. ET, with episodes available for streaming the following day on Peacock.
