Disney Channel Stars Turned Moms: Where Are They Now?
Hilary Duff, Vanessa Hudgens, and other former Disney stars have embarked on the journey of parenthood since their Disney Channel days.
In July 2024, Hudgens announced via her Instagram Stories that she and her husband Cole Tucker welcomed their first child.
“Mom, Dad, and baby are all happy and healthy,” Hudgens shared on Instagram at that time.
Hudgens revealed her pregnancy on the Oscars red carpet in March 2024, wearing a stylish form-fitting black turtleneck gown by Vera Wang. The soon-to-be mom showcased her baby bump by cradling her belly with her hands.
Later that same year, Duff celebrated the arrival of her third child with husband Matthew Koma in May 2024. The Lizzie McGuire star shares daughters Banks and Mae with Koma, along with son Luca from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie.
“Townes Meadow Blair, now we know why you made us wait so long… You were perfecting those cheeks!” Duff wrote on Instagram. “I’ve been dreaming of holding you for months, and these past five days of getting to know you, gazing at you, and breathing you in have been pure magic. We love you as if you’ve always been with us, darling.”
Duff discussed her challenges as a new parent on the “Motherly” podcast in June 2019.
“I always knew I wanted to be a mom,” Duff shared during that interview. “I’ve always known that would be my top priority in life. So I felt prepared in some ways, but also a bit apprehensive. Once I became pregnant, I felt those nerves creep in, thinking, ‘Oh, this is really happening. What if this? What if that?’”
