Does Vanna White Have Children? Discover the Star of Wheel of Fortune’s Family

Vanna White is widely recognized for her role as a letter-turner on Wheel of Fortune, but one of her greatest joys is being a mother.

She shares two children, Nikko and Gigi Santo Pietro, with her former husband George Santo Pietro, whom she was married to from 1990 to 2002. After their separation, Nikko mentioned that he and his father continued to watch White on Wheel of Fortune regularly.

“The truth is, when my mom and dad separated, my dad would always watch Wheel of Fortune, so I ended up watching it probably more than she did,” he shared candidly with People in October 2025.

White also takes pride in her children’s successes in their respective careers.

“I love to brag! My son works at a real estate agency and does an amazing job. He’s dedicated and eager to close deals,” the game show icon mentioned to Parade in September 2024. “My daughter graduated from New York University with an art degree and is now an accomplished tattoo artist. She loves the idea of putting her art on someone’s body forever. Her work is stunning.”

Nicholas ‘Nikko’ Santo Pietro

Nikko was born on June 10, 1994. He studied agriculture at Oregon State University before embarking on a career as a real estate agent with The Agency’s prestigious group, The Umansky Team.

“Nikko’s biggest passion is cooking, a talent he inherited from his father, who owned two famed Los Angeles restaurants, Santo Pietro’s and Sushi Ko,” his bio on The Agency site states. “He grew up nurturing a garden and vineyard, where guests were welcomed, and communal meals were prepared and enjoyed.” (White previously revealed that both her children relocated back to L.A. during the COVID-19 pandemic.)

Fans may recognize Nikko from his cooking videos featured on his Instagram as well as on his mother’s official account. His online following is rapidly growing, with many admiring him as a “heartthrob” in the comments.

“I’ve received an overwhelming response from her fans, being incredibly kind and leaving all sorts of interesting comments,” Nikko shared with Entertainment Tonight in December 2024 about the fan reactions.

Giovanna ‘Gigi’ Santo Pietro

Gigi was born on July 1, 1997, and attended New York University, where she pursued photography. Currently, she works as a tattoo artist, showcasing some of her creations on Instagram.

In October 2023, White mentioned that she is open to getting a tattoo from Gigi in the future.

“I want matching hearts; she’ll do a little heart on me, and I’ll do one on herself. It’s something I feel I need to do because it represents her,” the game show icon told People, adding she “never imagined” her daughter becoming a tattoo artist but is excited for her.

“I asked Gigi, ‘Why tattooing?’ She replied, ‘Mom, my art will be on someone’s body for the rest of their lives.’ I thought, ‘That’s pretty cool,’” White said. “You must be exceptional and confident. There’s no room for mistakes. She absolutely loves it and has been doing fantastic work for the last three years. I’m incredibly proud of her.”

White noted that both her children have always been highly creative.

“They are both artistic,” she stated. “Nikko creates art for fun. It’s his escape from the demands of real estate, which suits him well. He’s thriving in both areas.”

Vanna White’s Son Showed Support After Her Wedding to John Donaldson

White announced in January 2026 that she married her long-time boyfriend John Donaldson after more than a decade of dating.

“Surprise! We got married! ❤️ John and I have been in love for over ten years, and recently we decided to make it official in a small, private ceremony,” she captioned a photo of Donaldson carrying her as she wore a stunning white beaded gown. “We’re thrilled to share this joyous new chapter in our lives with all of you! Love, Vanna and John.”

Friends, fans, and fellow celebrities flooded the comments section of the post to extend their congratulations to the newlyweds.

“Congrats!! 🎉🍾,” Nikko commented.

White later expressed her gratitude for all the love in a follow-up comment, saying, “Thank you all for the sweet well wishes!!! We are truly grateful for all the love and congratulations.”
