Elizabeth Olsen Favors The Row Clothing by Mary-Kate and Ashley
Elizabeth Olsen proudly endorses The Row.
The 36-year-old actress gave a nod to her twin sisters, Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, through her fashion choices during an interview with InStyle, published on Tuesday, October 21.
In the interview, Elizabeth shared insights into her wardrobe, revealing her preference for vintage clothing “and items that her sisters give her from The Row, such as her coat.”
“I love shopping for food and home goods—like linens and small tables. I do spend money, but it’s never on clothes,” she elaborated.
Elizabeth donned a sleek piece from her sisters’ brand, The Row, while posing in stylish outfits for a photo shoot. One of the images showcased her in a brown coat with boxy sleeves and an A-line silhouette, complemented by a structured collar featuring black buttons and deep pockets.
She paired the coat with black leggings from The Row and patent leather shoes. A Van Cleef & Arpels ring lent a hint of sparkle to her ensemble.
Her fall-ready coat was styled with a full makeup look: dewy skin, blushed and bronzed cheeks, bold black eyeliner, well-groomed eyebrows, and soft pink lips. Elizabeth’s brunette locks were elegantly twisted into an updo, with her bangs styled over her forehead.
Mary-Kate and Ashley, now both 39, have distanced themselves from the acting world since their childhood stardom. They appeared in iconic projects like Full House, When in Rome, and Passport to Paris. In 2012, the twins officially retired from acting to focus on their brand, The Row.
In September 2024, the twins participated in a rare interview with Vogue, discussing their first store location in Paris.
“We’ve been on the lookout for years, but we constantly explore,” Ashley shared. “We envisioned opening in Paris before London, but we couldn’t find the right spot. Then, 18 months ago, a friend informed us about this location.”
Mary-Kate expressed her excitement about the shop, noting, “It’s wonderful but also challenging having so many windows.” She mentioned that they opted for shades rather than displays to create a certain ambiance.
“It’s essential that the community has a pleasant experience—a local feel to the store,” Ashley emphasized. “We want the experience to be exceptional and unique. It’s just as vital as anything else we undertake.”
Ashley acknowledged that the store opening was a learning journey. “We have to be flexible and adapt, taking things one day at a time… that’s very much our style,” she noted. “While this may not be the most conventional location in Paris — we explored almost all the major streets — we’re quite content here.”
While Mary-Kate and Ashley have moved on from their on-screen careers, Elizabeth remains active in Hollywood, starring in successful series like WandaVision and Love & Death. She’s also featured in films such as Avengers: Infinity War, Eternity, and The Assessment.
In 2021, she received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her role as Wanda Maximoff in WandaVision.
