Emilie Kiser Reflects on Grief After the Loss of Her Son, Trigg
Emilie Kiser has posted a heartfelt message regarding her sorrow after the tragic drowning of her son, Trigg.
The 26-year-old influencer expressed her “endless sense of sadness” following the drowning of her son, Trigg, aged 3, in May, via an Instagram Story shared on Friday, October 3.
“If you’re facing loss, I want to let you know that I’m here with you. It’s a feeling of sadness that never goes away,” Emilie shared.
Emilie mentioned that she embraces her grief and sadness as she copes with the aftermath of this heartbreaking incident.
“One thing that has aided me is the realization that other emotions can exist alongside grief. When the tears flow, I allow them, fully experiencing every emotion. I absorb it all because living with it is a part of my life,” she expressed.
Emilie continued: “Experiencing grief is incredibly significant, and to me, it’s challenging and painful, yet it serves as a reminder of my boundless love for Trigg. I know that if my grief vanished tomorrow, I would feel sorrow, as it would mean I’m no longer carrying the memories and emotions of loving and missing him.”
The Chandler, Arizona, Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly in May that Trigg expired after being rescued from the family’s backyard pool.
In July, authorities recommended a criminal charge against Trigg’s father, Brady, who was present during the incident. A statement from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office later noted that there was “no likelihood of conviction.”

After taking a break from social media after Trigg’s passing, Emilie finally spoke about the tragedy in August.
“This level of loss feels impossible to articulate,” Emilie shared on Instagram at that time. “I’ve spent days, weeks, months searching for the right words and taking the necessary time to process the loss of my baby.”
She added, “Trigg is our baby and our best friend. The joy and spirit he brought to this world were bright, pure, and undeniable. We miss him every second of every day, and moving forward often feels unbearable. I never imagined we would experience grief in this manner or the pain of losing him so abruptly.”
Emilie, who also has a 6-month-old son, Teddy, with Brady, made her return to TikTok in September, paying tribute to her late son by wearing a necklace inscribed with “Trigg.”
“I’ve been offline for a little while,” she mentioned at that point. “I’m simply doing my best each day to navigate this and figure out my life. I’m taking it one day at a time, and I’ll approach my content the same way.”
On September 28, Emilie shared insights into her therapy journey as she endeavors to heal.
“I’m getting ready to pour out all my thoughts to her, which often makes me emotional on the drive there,” she said in a TikTok clip. “As I drive, I’m reminded of what I’m truly facing right now, and it hits me hard — ‘Wow, I can’t believe this is my life and what I’m enduring.’”
