
Fans Disappointed by Delay of Love Island USA Season 7 Premiere on Peacock
Love Island USA enthusiasts were greeted with unexpected news as they anticipated their return to the season 7 villa.
The popular Peacock series was scheduled to debut its seventh season on Tuesday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET. However, just one minute before the episode was set to air, the streaming service shared a tweet announcing a delay.
“WE GOT A TEXT! Tonight’s episode will be slightly delayed. But it is worth the wait. Stay tuned!” the official X account for Peacock tweeted, including the Love Island USA hashtag.
As reported by Deadline, Canadian viewers could access the episode on the CTV streamer, suggesting that the delay stemmed from a technical issue with Peacock.
The episode became available for streaming at 10 p.m. ET.

Upon discovering the delay on Tuesday night, fans expressed their frustration with the streaming service. “SO WHAT THE F*** IS THE PROBLEM @peacock ?????” one user vented, while another added, “Peacock got me stalking their page for Love Island like I’m stalking an ex.”
A third viewer simply questioned: “Peacock, where the hell is Love Island?”
Some fans humorously suggested taking matters into their own hands. “Imma go into the Peacock HQ myself and release the Love Island episode atp WHERE IS IT?” one fan quipped. “Y’all brb I’m breaking into Peacock to click the premiere Love Island button for us,” another joked.
According to the official synopsis, Love Island USA “features a group of attractive singles seeking love in a stunning Fijian villa. Throughout their stay in this tropical paradise, Islanders will couple up to face thrilling new challenges and unexpected twists and turns.” As “temptations rise,” the drama intensifies with new “bombshells” entering the villas, compelling Islanders to choose between their current partners or making a fresh connection.
Vanderpump Rules alum Ariana Madix returns as the host for season 7, with Iain Stirling as the narrator. This season will introduce a host of fresh new contestants from across the nation, including North Carolina, Oklahoma, Hawaii, and Michigan.
