Frankie Muniz Shares First Photo from ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ Reboot

Malcolm is right in the thick of things.

On April 22, Frankie Muniz shared a picture on X featuring his “Malcolm in the Middle” co-stars Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek, who portrayed his on-screen parents in the cherished comedy series.

“It’s always nice to have Mom and Dad around!” Muniz wrote alongside the photo, which showed him with Cranston and Kaczmarek on either side.

This snapshot arrives as the show’s reboot begins to take shape. Muniz, who has spent nearly two decades as a professional race car driver, is making a return to his entertainment roots in the upcoming “Malcolm in the Middle” series.

Disney+ announced the reboot last December, promising four new episodes.

“I have been eagerly anticipating this moment for 18 years,” Muniz mentioned in an Instagram video released by the streaming service. “Let’s discover where Malcolm and his family are now.”

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ first aired,” Cranston said. “I’m thrilled, though I might have peed a little in my excitement.”

“We couldn’t be more excited to reunite and find out what this family has been up to,” Kaczmarek expressed.
