Friend Comes to Vanna Einerson’s Defense Following Online Backlash on Love Island USA

Outside the Love Island USA villa, Vanna Einerson’s friend is coming to her defense regarding her appearance.

Lulu Clawson took to TikTok on Wednesday, June 25, to respond to critics who have commented on Vanna’s looks while she forges connections on season 7 of Love Island USA. “Vanna is one of my favorite people,” Lulu shared about her friend, whom she’s known for over five years. “She’s incredibly nice to everyone she meets. She’s genuine, confident, loves herself, her style, her appearance, and everyone else’s as well.”

Lulu added, “She would never judge anyone else’s looks. She’s the least judgmental person.” They even gave Vanna the nickname of their “little Bratz doll.”

“She’s the type of girl who, when you visit her, helps you pick out your outfit,” Lulu praised, highlighting how “thoughtful” Vanna is.

Lulu mentioned that it has been tough to watch Vanna — who doesn’t have her phone while filming the show — “get dragged on the internet.” She also called out bullies and platforms — including Facetune — that commented on her appearance.

“If someone is confident and loves themselves, let them be,” Lulu emphasized. She further addressed critics by asserting, “It doesn’t matter if you think they shouldn’t look like that.”

Vanna’s fans showed their support for Lulu in the comments, urging internet trolls to stop as well.

“She’s lucky to have a friend like you!! 💗💗,” remarked one social media user. Another noted that the “cyber bullying” had become “out of control.” A third Love Island fan commented, “Vanna is the best. So, so kind and genuine. The internet is horrible. Girls need to support girls.”

Vanna was introduced to Love Island during Casa Amor, where she initially paired up with Ace Greene. In Tuesday night’s recoupling ceremony, she chose to explore a connection with TJ Palma instead.

Vanna has yet to comment on her appearance.

Fans can catch Love Island USA every day except Wednesdays on Peacock.
