Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are bringing some incredible floral elegance to the scene.
At the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, May 5, the dynamic duo caught everyone’s eye with their distinctive take on the “Tailed for You” dress code.
Union, 52, dazzled in a black Prada gown featuring a striking white train adorned with floral details. To complete her outfit, she wore a floral headpiece and a shimmering diamond necklace from Tiffany & Co., which sparkled brilliantly in the bright lights of the red carpet.
Wade, 43, also made a statement, donning a floral vest beneath his crisp white blazer, paired with classic black tuxedo pants, proving that men can shine at the Met Gala.
On the glam front, makeup artist Sam Fine collaborated with the couple to achieve a stunning look. “A makeup artist’s role is to know when to go bold… and when to hold back,” Fine shared with Us. “We found the perfect balance tonight, thanks to Prada Beauty.”
Prior to their big arrival, the couple was seen joyfully dancing outside The Carlyle hotel in New York before ducking under umbrellas for their ride to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
In October 2024, the museum revealed that their spring 2025 exhibition would focus on “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” examining Black dandyism and the crucial role of sartorial style in shaping Black identities, according to their press release.

This isn’t the first time Union and Wade have stolen the show at the Met Gala. The duo has consistently ranked among the best-dressed couples during their appearances in 2015, 2022, and 2023.
While some celebrities may feel anxious walking the iconic carpet, Union relishes every moment.
“I love that part,” she expressed to People in an interview published on Sunday, May 4. “I think it’s nerve-wracking for many, but when you truly vibe with a designer and embrace their creative vision that aligns with yours, it becomes something truly spectacular.”
Wade’s interest in fashion began long before his NBA fame.
“My father always took pride in his appearance,” he shared in a Highsnobiety interview in March. “My uncles did as well. I’ve always aspired to be one of those sharp-dressed men who smelled good, stayed groomed, and looked polished.”
The legendary athlete added, “I’ve been painting my nails since 2007.”
