Get to Know Kendra Scott’s Sons Cade, Beck, and Grey Following Her Recent Engagement
Kendra Scott has been a staple in women’s jewelry since 2002, yet her primary role remains as a mother.
When the Texas-based designer introduced her men’s collection, Scott Bros. by Kendra Scott, in 2021, she drew inspiration from her three sons: Cade, Beck, and Grey.
“She’s been influenced by many significant figures in her life, especially men, but none have impacted her more than her father and her sons,” said Kendra Scott CEO Tom Nolan during a June 2021 interview with Tribeza.
Although it was in 2021 that Scott designed bracelets named after her boys, she has always expressed her love for motherhood.
“Happy Mother’s Day from my family to yours. 💛,” Scott posted on Instagram in May 2024. “Being a mother is the most important job in the world, and I feel fortunate to call myself a mom.”
As Kendra is now engaged to country singer Zac Brown — who proposed in July 2025 — she is set to welcome five stepchildren into her family. The musician has Justice, Lucy, Georgia, Joni, and Alexander from his previous marriage with Shelly Brown.

Cade
Kendra embraced motherhood in November 2001 when she welcomed her son, Cade, with her first husband John Scott.
Kendra celebrated her eldest son’s graduation from the University of Texas, Austin in May 2025. “Beaming with pride at the incredible young man he has become — smart, kind, and thoughtful, with a heart full of love. Proud mom moment!” she shared on Instagram. “Congratulations, my sweet Cade, and cheers to the entire @utaustintx Class of 2025!!! 🤘.”
Beck
Kendra and John welcomed their second son, Beck, in April 2004. Two years later, they divorced, as reported by Austin American-Statesman. In 2018, Beck was hospitalized for a ski accident that required him to stay for 28 days, during which Kendra took time off to support him.
“I built my company on the foundation of family first,” Kendra reflected during her appearance on The Tamron Hall Show in 2022. “When Beck was injured, everyone knew I would be right by his side.”
Grey
Kendra welcomed her youngest son, Grey, in August 2013 with her second husband, Matt Davis. Kendra was married to Davis from 2014 to 2020 and later married Thomas Evans before beginning her relationship with Zac.
“Happy Birthday to the light of my life, my youngest, the one who keeps all of us on our toes,” Kendra shared on Instagram in August 2024, celebrating Grey’s 11th birthday. “I’m so proud of him — he’s kind, funny, athletic, loves his family, and let’s just say he’s better than me at Pickleball. I’m incredibly lucky to be his mom. We love you, Grey!”
