Guide to Viewing the ‘Saturday Night Live’ 50th Anniversary Special
“Saturday Night Live” recently marked its 50th anniversary since the iconic sketch comedy series first debuted in October 1975.
To celebrate this significant milestone, both current and former “SNL” cast members, alongside notable comedians, acclaimed actors, musical guests, and more, gathered in Studio 8H on Sunday, Feb. 16, for a three-hour tribute to five decades of humor.
While “SNL” typically goes live on Saturday nights, this anniversary event was held on a Sunday evening. (On Saturday, Feb. 15, NBC featured a special rebroadcast of the very first episode of the show.)
