Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen Are Expecting Their First Child!
Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are gearing up to welcome their first child.
The actress shared the exciting news in her Beau Society newsletter on Friday, December 12, announcing her pregnancy with her partner, the Buffalo Bills quarterback.
“As I embark on my 29th year, becoming a softer, stronger version of myself, I want to take a moment to acknowledge some of my favorite highlights from this year, both significant and subtle,” Steinfeld wrote to her audience before revealing 29 things she is thankful for. “29. This video…”
The clip showcased the actress unveiling her baby bump in a sweatshirt emblazoned with the word “mother.”
Steinfeld and Allen were first linked in May 2023, with the couple announcing their engagement in November 2024. A month later, they reminisced about their relationship milestone.
“I was quite nervous. I think I was most anxious about you finding out about the proposal,” Allen recounted in a December 2024 edition of Steinfeld’s “Beau Society” newsletter. “It was challenging to keep secrets from you, especially with others in your life also having to keep quiet. Throughout the day, a song would play, and I’d tear up just thinking of how special our day would be.”
In his proposal speech reflection, Allen alluded to his and Steinfeld’s aspirations for a family.
“I said, ‘I couldn’t wait any longer.’ I mentioned how eager I am to start a family with you,” he shared. “I used your full name, and I asked you very politely. I said please.”
“You were incredibly surprised, you said yes, and that was all that mattered to me. And the sun was shining,” he added. “It feels amazing to be engaged to someone as special, loving, caring, gorgeous, fun, and happy as you are.”
In March 2025, a source exclusively informed Us Weekly that Allen and Steinfeld shared aligned views on their future family.
“They’re both thrilled about starting a family and are looking to do so in the next few years,” the insider disclosed then. “They share the same values regarding parenting and having children.”
Two months later, Steinfeld and Allen exchanged vows in California in May 2025. The following month, he expressed his admiration for his new wife during a press conference, declaring his greatest achievement as “marrying my best friend.”
“She simplifies everything,” he gushed. “I don’t dwell on other matters; that was the most significant decision I’ll ever make, and I know I made the right choice.”
In a November 2025 interview with Bustle, Steinfeld echoed her feelings about her bond with Allen.
“I thank God every single day that I found my person; it’s the most wonderful thing,” she shared. “Life makes absolute sense now. I feel like I’m stepping into the version of myself I’ve always dreamed of, largely because of my relationship with him.”
When asked about her desire to have kids, Steinfeld confidently replied, “Of course.”
