Hailee Steinfeld’s Makeup Artist Reveals the Secrets Behind Her Wedding Glam Look
When Hailee Steinfeld made her grand entrance to marry NFL superstar Josh Allen, she radiated a stunning glow. Now, her long-time makeup artist, Mary Phillips, is sharing all the secrets behind her flawless bridal beauty in a newsletter released on Friday, August 22, via Beau Society, which Steinfeld founded.
Phillips praised the Sinners star, 28, as one of the “most beautiful brides” she’s ever had the pleasure to work with, while disclosing her beauty tips.
To achieve Steinfeld’s radiant look, Phillips emphasized dewy skincare, employing Augustinus Bader The Serum, The Rich Cream, and The Eye Cream, alongside NARS concealers and Chanel Vitalumiere foundation.
For that lovely flush, Phillips selected a Patrick Ta cream blush and paired it with a combination of powder shades from Pat McGrath and Gucci. To make her eyes subtly pop, she used the Chanel Clair Obscur palette, MAC Blackout gel eyeliner, and Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara, complemented by Anastasia brow pencil and clear brow gel.

The actress’s perfect pout was achieved with Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in Pillow Talk II.
“I was so incredibly grateful to have you be part of what I knew would be the most magical weekend of my life,” Steinfeld expressed in her newsletter, noting that having Phillips’s expertise provided her with ultimate peace of mind as she trusts her artistry “immensely.”
Phillips also advised future brides to consider having “a trial before the wedding,” especially if they haven’t previously worked with their makeup artist.
As Us Weekly previously reported, Steinfeld looked stunning in a classic white strapless gown for her big day, complete with an updo, veil, and opera gloves as she exchanged vows with the Buffalo Bills quarterback, 29, on May 31.
The couple was first romantically linked in May 2023 and officially went public on Instagram in July 2024, announcing their engagement that November.
