Hailey Bieber Plans to Keep Her Hair Long for ‘At Least a Year’ After Giving Birth
Hailey Bieber has no intentions of opting for a trendy cropped “mom” haircut in the near future.
Following a TikTok video where a user claimed Bieber, 28, “makes me want to cut my hair,” the model responded in the comments.
“You would look amazing,” Bieber commented. “But let’s agree to avoid making any drastic hair changes postpartum!”
She continued, “I’m personally giving myself at least a year!”
Hailey and her husband, Justin Bieber, celebrated the arrival of their son, Jack Blues, in August 2024. Since then, the founder of Rhode has openly discussed navigating motherhood alongside her professional commitments.
“I’m only engaging in what feels right for me—physically, mentally, and emotionally,” she shared with Women’s Wear Daily in an October 2024 feature. “Mistakes will arise … [there] “will be challenges that are beyond your control. However, it’s essential to adapt and manage them as they come along.”
Long before embracing motherhood, Hailey was famous for experimenting with her hairstyle—from long waves to chic bobs and various color treatments. In a 2017 conversation with Marie Claire, she emphasized her commitment to a “healthy” hair aesthetic.
“I inherited my hair from my dad. We jokingly call it ‘chicken feathers,’” Hailey humorously remarked about her father, actor Stephen Baldwin. “Yet, my mom has played a significant role in how I care for my hair: she prefers using only natural or minimally processed products.”
She noted, “I must be diligent with my hair: I use this product line and consistently trim off the dead ends to ensure it stays healthy. The struggle is very real.”
Along with maintaining her hair health, Hailey has made her relationship a top priority.
“There’s been a complete transformation in their marriage since they renewed their vows [in May 2024] and welcomed baby Jack,” a source exclusively revealed to Us Weekly in January. “He has truly brought them immense happiness and a refreshed connection.”
