Hannah Brown Accidentally Sent Adam Woolard a Photo of Her Wedding Dress
The former Bachelorette Hannah Brown confessed that she “was freaking out” before marrying Adam Woolard.
In an interview published by People on Sunday, July 27, just a day after their wedding in France, Brown, 30, shared how she accidentally sent Woolard, 35, a revealing text leading up to the big event.
Brown recounted that she inadvertently sent Woolard a photo of herself in her wedding dress, then “misled her husband” into thinking her final choice was a secret.
“I’ve thrown him off, but it is the first dress he ever saw, and I can’t wait to share that with him because I was really nervous,” Brown mentioned before the destination wedding took place.
The couple exchanged vows at the picturesque Domaine du Mont Leuze in Nice, with Brown walking down the aisle in a strapless Mira Zwillinger ballgown paired with Jimmy Choo heels and a Mira Zwillinger veil.
“That was the first dress I tried on, just for fun. My mom hadn’t even arrived yet, and when I put it on, I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, I love this!’ I was like, ‘Is this my dress?’” Brown shared during the interview.
Regarding how Woolard got a sneak peek, Brown told People she meant to send the photo to a friend for feedback but mistakenly sent it to him instead.
Hannah Brown is officially off the market! According to legal documents obtained by Us Weekly on Tuesday, July 22, Brown, 30, and fiancé Woolard, 34, filed marriage paperwork in Davidson County, Tennessee, on June 21. The reality star also shared a photo of herself holding their marriage certificate alongside Woolard on Instagram.
“I gasped audibly. I was still getting ready in the dressing room, and I told my mom and everyone helping at Mark Ingram [Atelier in New York City], ‘I just sent him the dress!’ They all gasped too,” Brown said. “[They] were like, ‘Oh no, what are we going to do?’ I was clueless. It felt awful.”
Woolard, who works as an executive in health and wellness, “immediately messaged back” with a crying face emoji.
“I was relieved he liked the dress, but oh no. I had to think quickly about what to do,” Brown recalled, deciding to send more photos of herself in different dresses to divert attention from her blunder.
For the reception, Brown changed into a dress from Mark Ingram Bride’s Spring 2025 Collection, described as a “spaghetti strap slip” with a corset bodice and floral-embroidered tulle over lace.
Viewers first got to know Brown during Colton Underwood’s season 23 of The Bachelor, which aired in 2019. Later that same year, she became the season 15 Bachelorette and was briefly engaged to Jed Wyatt before their split amid allegations he was dating another woman during filming.
Brown and Woolard connected on a dating app in January 2021 and got engaged in August 2023.
