How Bethenny Frankel’s Bikini Moment Transformed Her Life

Bethenny Frankel was fully aware that the polka dot bikini she donned for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit fashion show would significantly alter her life.

I sought pieces that came alive once I put them on.” After trying on swimsuits and narrowing her choices, Frankel recalled how she and the SI Swimsuits’ stylists were “playing around” when they handed her what resembled “a piece of string.”

“You could hear laughter outside [the changing room],” she reminisced. “I thought, ‘Yeah, just for fun.’” Upon putting on the bikini, Frankel realized that the design would “change [her] life.”
