How Brittany Mahomes Manages to Stay Off Her Phone While Raising Three Kids

Brittany Mahomes is exploring various activities to keep herself entertained while her children nap.

“Rather than scrolling through my phone while all three kids are asleep, [I’ve] been pushing myself to engage in something productive!” Mahomes, 29, posted alongside a photo of red lights on Instagram Stories on Thursday, May 22. “Reading my Bible, relaxing in red light, or simply stepping outside to enjoy the silence is incredibly calming and rejuvenating for me!”

Brittany and her husband Patrick Mahomes have three children: Sterling, 4, Bronze, 2, and Golden, 4 months. Patrick is currently enjoying his break from the NFL. The couple is cherishing their time with the newborn, who arrived during playoff season, right before the Kansas City Chiefs moved on to Super Bowl LIX. Unfortunately, Patrick, 29, and his team fell short against the Philadelphia Eagles, with a score of 22-40.

“I felt a sense of pride in how my team fought throughout the season despite the pressures we faced,” Mahomes stated after the game, as reported by ESPN. “But we ultimately came up short.”

“It’s going to take time to heal, but how do you react [to] it?” Mahomes continued. “And how can you improve? How can you push yourself to go beyond just reaching this point and elevate your game?”

As Patrick prepares for the 2025-26 season, it seems he’s also keeping his kids active. He created an obstacle course for Sterling and Bronze, which Brittany showcased in a video on Instagram Stories.

“We’re getting our workout in,” she shared, tagging Patrick, who appeared in the footage. The course featured a tunnel, balance beam, soccer net, and batting tee.

Patrick reposted the clip on his own profile with three bomb emojis.

Brittany and Patrick recently enjoyed a parents’ night out at the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation’s Vegas Golf Classic Gala, which occurred on May 15.

“Thank you to everyone who came out to support @15andmahomies! It truly means the world to us to have so many incredible supporters of @15andmahomies,” Brittany wrote alongside photos on Instagram on May 19.

Several of Patrick’s teammates, including Travis Kelce, were in attendance. During the charity gala, Kelce, 35, initially aimed to bid on a guitar signed by his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, but decided against it after realizing he already owned it.

“No, I put my paddle up because I wanted it, and then I thought, ‘Oh, I already have it. Oh, that was the guitar I own,’” he explained to his brother Jason Kelce on their “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday, May 21.

Jason, 37, mentioned to Us Weekly that the brothers tend to value quality time with their families during the NFL offseason.

“We’re both heavily focused on the current season, be it the Eagles, the Chiefs, or the overall NFL atmosphere for our podcast,” Jason, who retired in 2024, told Us at the 2025 Amazon Upfront in New York City on May 12. “Once the football season concludes, we make an effort to reconnect with family and engage in activities we enjoy outside the game.”
