How Lauren Sanchez’s Three Children Participated in Jeff Bezos’ Wedding
Lauren Sánchez ensured her wedding to Jeff Bezos was inclusive of her three children.
Vogue reported on Friday, June 27, that Sánchez, 55, walked down the aisle with her sons, Nikko, 24, and Evan, 19, while her daughter, Ella, 17, acted as her maid of honor. Ella, dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana suit, also performed a reading during the ceremony.
“Ella’s unique; she follows her own path,” Sánchez said of her daughter’s wedding attire choice. “She had never tried on anything like it before, and she loved it. She’s going to look stunning. Dressing all the kids has been an absolute joy.”
Sánchez shares Nikko with her ex-boyfriend, former NFL player Tony Gonzalez, whom she dated in the early 2000s. The couple parted ways a year after welcoming Nikko in 2001. She is the mother of Evan and Ella with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell.
Before the wedding, the family celebrated Evan’s birthday on Sunday, June 22, with a foam party on their super yacht.
It remains uncertain whether Bezos’ four children — three sons and one daughter, from his marriage to ex-wife MacKenzie Scott — participated in the ceremony. Bezos and Scott announced their separation in 2019 after 25 years together.
Sánchez and Bezos kept most aspects of their relationship private until news of their engagement surfaced in 2023. Sánchez made a rare public statement about Bezos while commemorating his 60th birthday.
“Look who’s celebrating 60! Happy birthday, baby! 🎉,” she shared on Instagram. “Today marks another day filled with your laughter in our home, and your smile brightens every room. Wishing you endless simple joys and peaceful moments of happiness. May this year bring you everything you love, from tranquil mornings to joyful celebrations. The couple arrived in Venice on Thursday, June 26, accompanied by several celebrity guests before officially exchanging vows.
Attendees at the wedding included Kris Jenner and her partner, Corey Gamble, along with Jenner’s daughters Khloé and Kim Kardashian. Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Vittoria Cerretti, who have been seen together since August 2023, arrived separately.
Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and his spouse, Dee Ocleppo, were also present, along with Orlando Bloom, Sydney Sweeney, and Tom Brady.
Sánchez changed her Instagram name to Lauren Sánchez Bezos shortly after Friday’s ceremony. She also removed all previous photos from her account and uploaded one from the wedding day. “06/27/2025 ♥️,” Sánchez captioned the image, showcasing the couple alongside their cheering guests.
According to a guest who spoke exclusively with Us Weekly, the ceremony was described as “really beautiful and low-key,” stating it was “not extravagant at all.”
