How Prince Harry Got Entangled in The Real Housewives of London
The Real Housewives of London cast isn’t shy about discussing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
In a trailer released on Tuesday, July 15, for Hayu’s new reality show, cast member Panthea Parker and her husband, British lawyer Ed Parker, attend a royal event at the palace.
During their car ride, Panthea hints to her husband that she might inquire with King Charles about his ongoing disputes with Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43.
“I’m going to approach the king,” she states in the preview. “I’m going to ask, ‘What are your thoughts on Harry and his actions?’”
However, Ed isn’t too keen on the idea of bringing it up at a garden party at Buckingham Palace.
“The booklet clearly states, ‘Do not question the monarch about Harry and Meghan,’” he responds, noting a brochure in hand. Us Weekly has reached out to King Charles’ team for clarification regarding this scenario.
Harry has had a strained relationship with his family for years, particularly following his and Meghan’s decision to step back from royal duties in 2020. Tensions heightened after Harry publicly addressed the king in a BBC interview this past spring.
“I would love to achieve reconciliation with my family,” the Duke of Sussex expressed in May. “Continuing to fight serves no purpose.”
Recently, reports emerged detailing a closed-door meeting in London involving senior members from both Harry and Charles’ teams aimed at enhancing communication.
While the family endeavors to work through matters as privately as possible, The Real Housewives of London cast is unafraid to reveal their personal dramas on camera.
Panthea will join Juliet Angus, Amanda Cronin, Karen Loderick-Peace, Juliet Mayhew, and Nessie Welschinger for an eventful season as they balance life, legacy, and loyalty.
Based on the trailer alone, viewers can expect a cast trip to Scotland and a dinner party gone awry at a secretive castle.
Bravo fans will recognize several familiar faces as the season progresses over the next 10 weeks.
The Real Housewives of Dubai’s Caroline Stanbury is expected to appear in support of her former Ladies of London co-star Juliet Angus. Additionally, The Real Housewives of New York City alum Dorinda Medley will also make a special guest appearance to catch up with a close friend.
The Real Housewives of London is set to premiere on Hayu on Monday, August 18, in the U.K., although a premiere date for the United States has not yet been announced.
