Huda from Love Island USA and Louis from Too Hot to Handle Spark Dating Rumors

Love Island USA‘s Huda Mustafa openly tackled rumors regarding her relationship with Too Hot to Handle‘s Louis Russell.

The 24-year-olds attended the Los Angeles premiere of Weapons on Thursday, July 31, where they held hands and donned matching black outfits.

The couple first ignited dating speculation in July when Huda, who has a 4-year-old daughter named Arleigh with her ex Noah Sheline, was seen in London with Louis. Fans recognized Louis from season 5 of Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle. He also appears in season 3 of Perfect Match, which premiered its first episodes on Friday, August 1.

Earlier this summer, viewers on Peacock had the chance to follow Huda’s journey for love during season 7. After a rocky relationship with Jeremiah Brown, Huda transitioned to a connection with Chris Seeley. Although the couple made it to the July finale, they ultimately broke up before the results, marking a first for the franchise.

Who says true love is impossible on reality TV? While it’s common for many on-screen couples to end in divorce, a few reality TV pairs are breaking the mold. For instance, Big Brother’s Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo met during season 18 of Big Brother in 2016. The timing…

“Everyone has their thoughts. I know how I want to be treated in a relationship, and I won’t settle for less,” Huda shared exclusively with Us Weekly in July about her breakup with Chris. “I won’t just sit here and accept things; he would ask me to be quiet, and I don’t like that.”

Huda justified her choice to part ways with Chris before production concluded, stating, “Why would I pretend to be happy when I’m not? I truly didn’t care about winning; I wanted to leave with the right person. If that’s not you, then I’m not leaving with you, finale or not. I prioritize authenticity in my connections.”

Besides his appearances on Netflix, Love Island USA fans might recognize Louis from his friendship with season 6 star Miguel Harichi. Moreover, Miguel’s girlfriend, Leah Kateb, has found herself in the news regarding Huda amid speculation of a feud, especially after Leah unfollowed her.

“Seriously, you would think I was on season 7 too! Please just leave me out of it! I am not involved nor have I commented on it. I’m not even watching! I don’t follow Love Island,” she expressed via TikTok last month. “I’m completely confused.”

Leah asserted she harbors “no ill feelings” toward anyone from the season 7 cast, adding, “I’m incredibly proud of everyone who participated in Love Island; it takes courage to put yourself in such a spotlight. I truly wish them all well.”

Reality TV often leads to unexpected romances, with many contestants finding love (or at least a fling) with fellow reality stars. For example, Bravolebrities frequently engage in crossover relationships. In August 2019, cast members from Southern Charm—Craig Conover, Shep Rose, and Austen Kroll—visited the Summer House cast during their stay at the Hamptons…

One social media user accused Leah of “contributing to the online harassment of a woman who is already facing heavy criticism,” a claim she denied.

“Honestly, what are you talking about? I haven’t mentioned Love Island at all. I’m not watching it. I don’t understand why you all want to drag me into this. Please let me be,” Leah responded. “I don’t get what you’re all talking about. All I’ve ever said is that I wish everyone an amazing experience and hope they protect their energy. Leave me alone.”

Leah further distanced herself from the drama by liking a comment about her choice to stop following Huda.

“PSA for those reacting to a simple unfollow: Leah stated she isn’t watching this season. She’s not part of the drama and has the right to guard her space without needing to justify it to anyone online,” read a fan’s comment. “She’s handled everything with such grace, and those of us who support her continue to do so. Not everything is an attack, and not every action demands a narrative. Let her live her life.”
