Huda Mustafa’s Ex Speaks Out Amidst Love Island Drama with Jeremiah

Huda Mustafa’s former partner and the father of her child is finally speaking out regarding her controversial appearance on Love Island USA.

Noah Sheline, who has a 4-year-old daughter named Arleigh with Huda, supported her on Monday, June 16, sharing his thoughts via Instagram Story: “At the end of the day, I hope everyone remembers we’re human. Whether you think she’s on that show to find love or for another reason, keep in mind she’s still a person, a mother, and has a life.”

Noah encouraged viewers of Peacock to show kindness rather than mock Huda.

“She may not be handling things perfectly—I don’t watch the show—but I dislike seeing so much negativity directed at her on my page, or even shared clips,” he remarked regarding the “unhealthy” criticism. “It’s not my responsibility to monitor her actions or the comments section, but what you do can impact her mental well-being and possibly that of my daughter in the future.”

Though he hasn’t been tuning in to Love Island USA, Noah felt compelled to defend Huda for the sake of their daughter, stating, “I’m looking out for her in this regard. Out of respect for our child.”

Huda is one of the original contestants on season 7 of Love Island USA, where she sought love. She connected instantly with Jeremiah Brown, leading to a complicated situation. The couple, who had an on-and-off relationship, faced criticism from both fans and fellow islanders for their immediate refusal to explore other connections.

Another issue arose when Huda did not initially disclose to Jeremiah that she was a mother. When she finally did, their relationship deteriorated, coinciding with the arrival of new bombshell Iris Kendall, which created even more tension. In the episode airing on Sunday, June 15, America voted for Jeremiah and Iris to be paired together.

Huda was understandably upset, and her response went viral. Noah expressed concern over Huda’s reaction once she leaves the villa and has access to social media again.

“It’s astounding that I need to get involved, but I don’t want my daughter’s mother to exit the show and be affected negatively—psychologically,” his post continued on Monday. “To those who have been supportive and respectful in defending her as a mother, thank you! She puts in as much effort as any other young parent out there.”

Noah made it clear he doesn’t “want to rekindle any relationship with her,” adding, “Not sure what else to say or if I’m just talking to a wall on social media. I simply ask people to be kind. It’s a TV show; you’re watching people date, and I don’t think it should warrant putting anyone into a cycle of bullying, no matter how silly they might appear.”

New episodes of Love Island USA will be available six days a week—excluding Wednesdays—on Peacock.
