Jamie Lee Curtis Responds to Sydney Sweeney’s Stunning Red Carpet Outfit
Jamie Lee Curtis had a comical response to Sydney Sweeney’s daring dress choice at the Variety Power of Women event.
Curtis, 66, showed her support for Sweeney’s bold outfit while they posed together at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Wednesday, October 29. In a clip shared via Entertainment Tonight’s TikTok, Curtis approached the actress with a smile, playfully gesturing at her chest, which was on display through her Christian Cowan gown.
The two women embraced and struck a pose. Curtis then leaned in to whisper something to Sweeney, prompting a bright smile from her.
Fans erupted in excitement over Sweeney’s outfit in the comments.

Sweeney’s dress showcased a silver chainmail design, featuring a scoop neckline, three-quarter length sleeves, a fitted waist, and a pleated skirt.
The Euphoria star enhanced her look with sparkling diamond rings and dangling earrings.
For her makeup, she opted for a flawless foundation, rosy and bronzed cheeks, pink lips, and long lashes.
Meanwhile, Curtis looked elegant in a tailored black blazer and flared pants, paired with a white top adorned with a large floral accent on her chest and stylish patent leather heels.
She completed her look with softly blended brown eyeshadow, glossy lips, and chic silver glasses. Her hair was styled in a neat pixie cut with a side part.
Sweeney has been candid about embracing her body. In October 2023, she told Glamour UK that she once felt self-conscious about her bust size in high school.
She mentioned her intention to undergo breast reduction surgery at age 18, but her mother, Lisa Sweeney, persuaded her to hold off.
“My mom advised, ‘Don’t do it. You’ll regret it in college,’” Sydney recalled. “And I’m so grateful I didn’t. I appreciate them; they’re my best friends.”
Sweeney has also discussed her “sex symbol” label, stating she doesn’t see herself that way.
“I often portray complex characters, and I believe many people think they know who I am, but they truly don’t,” she shared with Variety on Monday, October 27. “So when people say, ‘Oh, she’s a sex symbol,’ or ‘She’s embracing that,’ I respond, ‘No, I just feel good and I’m doing this for myself and feeling empowered.’”
