Jason Isaacs from “The White Lotus” Addresses Feud Rumors with Walton Goggins

There’s no drama here—just Jason Isaacs and Walton Goggins sharing a sweet moment at the airport.

“Guess who was on my plane? Hey, all you sharp online detectives—see any conflict?!! #RicksAlive!!!” Isaacs, 61, posted via Instagram on Friday, May 2, alongside two selfies featuring the White Lotus co-stars hugging at the airport. In one image, they’re all smiles, while in the other, Isaacs is seen kissing Goggins, 53, on the forehead.

Goggins also shared a similar selfie with Isaacs on his Instagram Story on Saturday, May 3, captioning it, “Got to hug Timothy Ratliff yesterday,” in reference to Isaacs’ character in White Lotus.

Last month, Isaacs refuted rumors about any tensions among cast members of the popular Max drama.

“Like any summer gathering, there are friendships, romances, arguments, and cliques that form and reform,” Isaacs noted on an April 9 episode of SiriusXM’s “The Happy Hour” podcast. “I’m not naive. I see what’s happening online.”

He added, “No one has a clue what they’re talking about. Those who think they know something just amplify it with the help of a thousand followers. Nobody is really in the know.”

Isaacs had previously described the set of The White Lotus as “a mix between summer camp and Lord of the Flies but within a gilded cage” in an interview with Vulture published on March 30.

“Imagine all the antics you’d expect from a group of individuals detached from their normal lives on the other side of the world, operating under pressure in intense heat, with insects and late nights,” he said to the outlet. “The saying goes, ‘What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand,’ but there’s an off-screen White Lotus as well, featuring just as much drama but fewer fatalities.”

Later, Isaacs clarified his comments on his April 9 appearance on “The Happy Hour” podcast.

“First of all, it’s really not your concern,” he remarked. “I just want to clarify that it wasn’t a vacation; people think we were on a seven-month holiday, but trust me, it felt very much like work at times. The heat was intense, and all the usual social dynamics were at play.”

As for Goggins, he abruptly ended an interview with The London Times, published on Thursday, May 1, when pressed about alleged tension with his The White Lotus co-star Aimee Lou Wood. “I’m not going to engage in that conversation,” he responded.

According to Times writer Ed Potton, Goggins deemed the questions “thinly veiled” attempts to discuss unverified rumors regarding a feud with Wood, 31. Goggins also allegedly expressed that Potton didn’t seem “interested” in discussing the film he was promoting, The Uninvited.

“There’s no conversation to be had regarding that,” Goggins asserted when Wood’s name came up again. “Engaging in political discussions on social media—it’s all in a vacuum.” When Potton tried once more to address the issue, Goggins’ U.S. representative reportedly cut the interview short after it went “off the rails.”

Both Goggins and Wood have yet to address the feud rumors and have continued to express warmth towards each other in interviews.
