Jason Kelce Mocks Travis and DeVonta Smith’s Suit Shorts Style

Before the Kansas City Chiefs clashed with the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, September 14, retired NFL player Jason Kelce took a critical look at the pregame fashion and threw a flag on the play.

Jason, 37, shared a video showcasing his brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, arriving in style, alongside a photo of Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith making his entrance at the stadium.

“Looks like we’re about to witness a classic suit shorts battle this evening,” Jason wrote via X, humorously referencing the fashion duel.

Travis, 35, donned a navy Thom Browne suit featuring a red, white, and blue stripe running down the back of the jacket. He paired it with a collared shirt, tie, matching shorts, and lace-up dress shoes, completing his ensemble with gold-rimmed sunglasses.

Regarding Smith, he showcased a vibrant orange jacket with a single-breasted design and a tailored fit, complemented by a button-up shirt, a white lapel flower, and a matching pocket square. The NFL standout, 26, also sported shorts that ended above the knee while carrying a Louis Vuitton suitcase.

Fans chimed in after Jason refereed the wardrobe showdown. “Smitty looks like a model,” one user remarked, favoring Smith — while another joked, “Tailor: What do you want today? Smitty: A cool step for a warm temp. @tkelce: Give me 92 percent open leg.”

While Travis Kelce is renowned as one of the NFL’s top tight ends, his off-the-field style is equally notable. Kelce’s fashion sense consistently draws attention before every Kansas City Chiefs game, whether he arrives in a tailored suit or a designer two-piece. “Without a doubt, I […]

“Travis wore it better,” a third observer commented, while a fourth playfully noted the “business on top, party on the bottom” aesthetic, saying, “There must be a big Zoom meeting happening.”

In the end, the Eagles walked away with a 20-17 victory, marking the Chiefs’ second loss of the season and their first 0-2 start since 2014.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took responsibility for Travis’ fumbled catch in the fourth quarter when addressing reporters post-game. Mahomes, 29, mentioned he threw the ball “a tad too early” and should have aimed it closer to his body, adding, “It was unfortunate that the ball bounced up in the air and went right to [Eagles’ rookie safety Andrew Mukuba].”
