Jason Kelce Reveals What He Loves Most About Being a Parent
Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce’s daughter Bennett has just turned 2!
The couple celebrated their third child’s milestone on Sunday, February 23, which included a special mention on Jason’s podcast.
In the episode of “New Heights” released on Wednesday, February 26, which was recorded on her birthday, Jason and Travis Kelce offered their birthday wishes to Bennie in the opening moments.
“Bennett turned 2 today,” Travis, 35, noted. “Right as your family prepares to welcome another baby girl.”
Alongside Bennie, Jason and Kylie, 32, are the doting parents of daughters Wyatt, 5, and Ellie, 3, and they are looking forward to the arrival of their fourth daughter later this year.
“What do you have planned for [Bennie]?” Travis inquired of his brother.
Jason, 37, shared that the birthday festivities kicked off the night before the podcast recording, adding that the family was continuing to celebrate without him.
“Unfortunately, we’re doing the podcast,” Jason said, channeling his inner proud dad.
“Bennie is hilarious at this age, and she’s just at that stage where she can respond and sort of talk, but her expressions don’t always match her thoughts,” Jason said, describing his daughter. “It’s just so cute.”
“It’s hard to put into words, but I absolutely love interacting with her every day, witnessing her learning and curiosity as they develop—that’s probably my favorite aspect of being a parent,” Jason elaborated, as Travis smiled in agreement.
Jason mentioned, “Just watching a child learn and discovering things with them is incredible. Simple tasks like opening the fridge become monumental moments for them, something we take for granted as adults.”
He added humorously, “You realize, ‘Wow, figuring out how to unscrew a water bottle just made this little kid’s day!’”
“Right now, that’s her main focus for the day,” Jason said regarding Bennie’s latest discovery. “And it’s absolutely amazing.”
Jason expressed his excitement and amazement at the thought of having another child. He told Travis, “When the next baby arrives, we’ll have a 5-year-old, a 4-year-old, a 2-year-old, and a newborn. We are definitely in the thick of it.”
“We’re really in it now. It’s going to get wild. I’m still unsure how we will manage with four, but I know it’ll be intense,” Jason shared while receiving supportive vibes from Travis.
“You all will be just fine,” Travis reassured Jason, adding playfully that he “can’t wait to jump in and have fun with those girls, then hand them back to you.”
