Jen Affleck Emotional Over Zac’s Christmas Gift from Dancing With the Stars
Jen Affleck received a heartfelt gift from her husband, Zac Affleck, this Christmas.
Jen, 26, showcased the touching present Zac, 28, gave her for the holiday, which was quite familiar to their fans. In a TikTok video posted on Sunday, December 28, Jen captured the moment she opened a note from Zac as he entered the frame with a large, wrapped gift. She shot him a playful side-eye while reading the note. “I’m already crying,” she captioned the screen as she began to unwrap the gift.
“I think it’s that time of month where, like, just everything makes me cry,” laughed the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star. “This is a big present!”
Once the wrapping paper was off, Jen revealed her gold Dancing With the Stars costume set displayed in a glass frame. She was instantly emotional upon recognizing her very first costume, which she wore for promotional photos alongside pro Jan Ravnik before season 34. Accompanying the costume were snapshots of her dancing in the ballroom, along with a gold plaque indicating her season number.
“Are you serious?!” Jen exclaimed to Zac, wiping away a tear. “How did you know this was my favorite?” she questioned.
Zac responded, “I wanted it to signify your postpartum journey. So I included the funny picture of you in your gown and one of you dancing.”
Jen then sprang up and embraced her husband. “This is better than the Mirror Ball [trophy],” she told him. “I’m not joking. This is the best gift ever.” She added playfully, “How will you top that?” (Season 34 ended with Robert Irwin and Witney Carson winning the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, while Jen and Jan, 30, finished in ninth place.)
Zac playfully responded, “You better keep doing cool things!” Jen ended the video with a kiss for Zac.
“The best Christmas gift 🥺🎁 @Zac Affleck #dwts,” she captioned her post. Her celebrity friends and fans reacted enthusiastically to the heartfelt gift in the comments.
“STOP THIS IS SO PRECIOUS,” gushed fellow Dancing With the Stars pro Ezra Sosa, while her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives costar Layla Taylor added, “Wait omg stop 🥺.” Elaine Hendrix chimed in, “Love this. Love you.” Many fans echoed their sentiments, saying Zac had chosen “such a nice gift.”
Jen made her DWTS debut just two months after welcoming her third child, daughter Penelope “Penny” in July.
After receiving positive feedback from the judges in week 3, Jen shared with Us Weekly that her score meant “everything” to her. “Because being freshly postpartum, I continue to struggle with body image and most women do, especially after having a baby,” she expressed. “So any compliments we receive truly mean a lot.”
While on the show, Jen admitted that managing three kids under three while competing was “a lot.” “My body hurts. I’m still healing from giving birth, but I’m enjoying myself, and I’m doing it for my kids so they can do this too in the future.”
