Jenelle Evans and Kesha Bring Back a Classic ‘Teen Mom 2’ Moment
Jenelle Evans persuaded Kesha to reenact a memorable moment from Teen Mom 2 — and the outcome is unforgettable.
In a reel shared on Instagram on Friday, August 8, the 33-year-old reality star and 38-year-old Kesha lip-synced a conversation Evans had with her attorney regarding probation in season 3, episode 4 of the beloved MTV series.
“I understand that the concert is significant to you, but you could have all of this resolved in just a few weeks. Just move on,” Kesha, portraying the lawyer, lip-synced, while Evans — holding a fake Kesha head — echoed, “Like, no one gets how crucial this concert is to me. It’s not just a concert. It’s Kesha, like… it’s the person.”
Fans of the series flooded the comments section to celebrate the social media performance, with one commenting, “This video has healed an entire generation 😭😅.”
Another remarked, “This is the best thing I’ve seen today! What a full circle moment. Iconic 👏🏻.”
In the original scene from the MTV series, Evans, along with her son Jace, now 16, consulted an attorney about her probation after a failed drug test. She expressed a preference to serve 16 days in jail instead of a year on probation, but when her lawyer proposed potential prison dates, Evans disclosed that the timing clashed with her plans to attend a Kesha concert.
“Well, you see, on the 9th, I have second-row seats to see a concert. It’s Kesha tickets,” Evans explained to her attorney, who informed her that serving jail time would help resolve her legal troubles.
Evans, adorned with heavy eyeliner and black-and-white feathers in her blonde hair, reiterated, “She’s, like, my idol, and I can’t bear to miss her. I can’t skip that concert.”
It seems Evans has finally realized her dream. Kesha is currently touring on her Tits Out Tour, which will extend internationally in 2026. Her album “.” (Period) was released on July 4.
Evans gained reality stardom after featuring on 16 & Pregnant in 2010 and continued with Teen Mom 2 from 2011 to 2019. She shares Jace with ex Andrew Lewis, along with son Kaiser, 11, from her relationship with ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith, and daughter Ensley, 8, with ex-husband David Eason. (Their divorce was finalized last month.)
Throughout her MTV journey, Evans faced multiple controversies and was arrested 15 times. She temporarily lost custody of Kaiser and Ensley in 2019 and after 13 years under the care of her grandmother Barbara Evans, regained full custody of Jace in March 2023.
The network severed ties with Evans after Eason tweeted homophobic comments in 2018 and killed her dog in 2019.
“I was a bit surprised, but I anticipated it,” Evans told Us Weekly following her dismissal. “It’s still shocking, but I respect their decision and have nothing but love for MTV.”
She added, “This marks a new chapter for me and my family. I will continue to focus on what’s best for us.”
