Jenna Fischer from The Office Shows Off Her Beautiful Curly Bangs After Chemo
The Office star Jenna Fischer is celebrating her hair transformation post-chemotherapy.
On Tuesday, April 15, Fischer, 51, shared an Instagram post showcasing her lush curls, which are coming in after her chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. In the photo, she looks directly at the camera, her copper hair styled into neat curls and swept to the side of her forehead. She complemented her hairstyle with a navy blue top featuring sharp lapels and a laid-back collar.
The actress opted for a natural look, going makeup-free to highlight her beautiful skin, which she paired with chic black eyeglasses. She accessorized her outfit with silver hoop earrings.
In the caption of her selfie, she expressed her excitement about her new hairdo: “I am borderline obsessed with my messy uncontrollably curly post-chemo bangs. They are giving me 80s vibes all day and I’m here for it. Positive comments only because they deserve it. They are the best. 🤘.”
Fischer received numerous compliments from celebrity friends and fans on her latest hairstyle.
“I loooove it!!!! ❤️🔥,” commented her fellow Office castmate and cohost of “The Office Ladies” podcast, Angela Kinsey. Olivia Munn, another breast cancer survivor, chimed in, “I’m so happy you’re loving it now! I am too! 😍.”
Fans suggested accessorizing her look with a red bandana to channel Rosie the Riveter. Another admirer commented, “You are so beautiful, Jenna. 🔥 I love that you share this part of your journey with us. ❤️.”
Fischer first spoke about her battle with breast cancer in October 2024, almost a year after her diagnosis.
“October is breast cancer awareness month. I never imagined I’d be making such an announcement, but here we are,” she posted on Instagram. “Last December, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Triple Positive Breast Cancer.”
She further shared, “After completing surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, I am now cancer-free.”
In January, she commemorated the first anniversary of her breast cancer surgery. “I spent the day in St. Louis surrounded by family, celebrating a belated Christmas with grandparents and cousins after enjoying my FAVORITE hotel of all time, the @fsstlouis,” she wrote on social media. “I have two more Herceptin infusions left, and then I will get my port removed!! Woot! My hair is growing back (slowly and wildly, but it’s growing).”
