Jennifer Garner’s Shocking Transformation: What Would Her Teen Kids Think of This Unearthed Photo?
Jennifer Garner is known for her sense of humor, and over the weekend, she took a nostalgic trip by exploring her teenage photo album.
During an interview on the podcast Lipstick On the Rip hosted by Molly Sims, the 13 Going on 30 actress came across a photo of herself sporting theatrical makeup from her teenage years.
When asked about the worst beauty advice she ever received, she humorously declared herself “the worst,” explaining that her theatrical makeup was only worn during college. She shared a picture showing her dramatic look featuring pale foundation, vibrant red lipstick, and heavy mascara. “It’s so bad!” she laughed as she reminisced.
Her three children—Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12—will surely find these throwback photos amusing, as Jennifer has mentioned they all possess great senses of humor.
In an interview on Dr. Aliza Pressman’s podcast Raising Good Humans, the Hollywood star shared insights about their distinct personalities.
During the discussion, Jennifer expressed her top wish for all her children: to cultivate a sense of humor. “Being funny is the most important. Please be funny, that’s why I had you,” she quipped.
The actress and her ex-husband Ben Affleck are known for being private regarding their children and typically do not share photos of them online.
Recently, Violet made her Instagram debut when she appeared on Lynda Lopez’s Instagram, who visited her at Yale University, where she began her studies in September.
Violet has developed a close bond with both JLo and her sister during her father’s marriage to the “Let’s Get Loud” singer. Yale, located in New Haven, Connecticut, is within a reasonable distance from New York City, where Lynda resides, and where Jennifer frequently spends her time.
As Thanksgiving approaches, Violet is likely looking forward to returning to Los Angeles, where her family resides.
Jennifer has expressed her bittersweet feelings about the changes at home leading up to Violet’s departure. In May, she shared several emotional moments on Instagram, including one from her daughter’s graduation ceremony.
In her caption, she wrote: “Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate.”
A month later, the mother of three appeared on the Today Show alongside her mother, Patricia, discussing their family life.
Reflecting on her emotional Instagram post, Jennifer told hosts Hoda Kotb and Sheinelle Jones, “I was a wreck the entire month leading up to it. Every ceremony, every final, I just cried through everything.”
Yet on the actual day, she felt an overwhelming sense of pride. “The day of graduation was so joyful that it left me with nothing but pride and happiness,” she added.
