Jennifer Lawrence Stuns in Daring Sheer Dress at the 2026 Golden Globes

Jennifer Lawrence made a stunning entrance at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards.

The 35-year-old actress showcased a daring look on the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles ahead of the awards ceremony held on Sunday, January 11. She wore a Naked dress designed by Givenchy’s Sarah Burton, complemented by exquisite Swarovski jewelry. Lawrence posed for photographs solo before she was joined by her husband, Cooke Maroney, 41, who later accompanied her into the ceremony, where they were seen together.

Lawrence was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role in Die My Love. She faced stiff competition from Eva Victor for Sorry, Baby, Jessie Buckley for Hamnet, Julia Roberts for After the Hunt, Renate Reinsve for Sentimental Value, and Tessa Thompson for Hedda.

Lawrence is already a celebrated three-time Golden Globe winner, having previously won for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Silver Linings Playbook in 2013, Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for American Hustle in 2014, and Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Joy in 2016. She has also received nominations for her roles in Winter’s Bone in 2011, Don’t Look Up in 2022, and No Hard Feelings in 2024.

Lawrence has been married to Cooke Maroney since October 2019, and the couple has two sons: Cy, age 3, and another baby boy born in 2025, whose name has yet to be disclosed.

When filming the postpartum thriller Die My Love, Lawrence was five months pregnant with her second child.

“A part of what she’s experiencing involves the hormonal imbalance from postpartum, but she’s also facing an identity crisis. ‘Who am I as a mother? Who am I as a wife? Who am I as a sexual person to my husband? Who am I as an artist?’ She grapples with the feeling that she’s disappearing,” she shared with reporters at a Cannes Film Festival press conference in May 2025. “I was four-and-a-half, five months pregnant during filming, and I felt fantastic, which was crucial for tapping into some of these deep emotions.”

Reflecting on her journey as a mother, Lawrence remarked, “Having children alters everything. It transforms your entire life. It’s both brutal and incredible.”

“My kids impact every decision I make regarding work — where, when, and how. They’ve taught me — I never realized I could feel so deeply,” she explained. “My profession heavily relies on emotion, and it’s incredibly sensitive. They have undeniably changed my life for the better and have enriched my creativity. I highly recommend parenthood for anyone interested in acting.”

In November 2025, Lawrence candidly discussed her efforts to balance her career with family obligations.

“Having children requires sacrifice. It’s fulfilling and rewarding, but it certainly calls for sacrifice,” she shared on The New York Times’ “The Interview” podcast. “I had never before had to decline something I genuinely wanted to do.”

Despite feeling “vain and selfish” for continuing her career post-baby, Lawrence underscored the crucial role acting plays in her life.

“While my children and family are undeniably the priority, they feel like an integral part of who I am,” she acknowledged. “I wouldn’t feel whole if I couldn’t pursue my passion for filmmaking.”
