Jeremy Sisto Teases Chilling Fall Finale of FBI Featuring Jubal in the Spotlight
As FBI approaches its winter break, Jeremy Sisto alerts fans that Jubal’s team faces an “exciting” yet “horrific” case filled with unexpected twists.
“It’s terrifying,” Sisto, who portrays ASAC Jubal Valentine, shared exclusively with Us Weekly regarding the two-part fall finale set to air on Monday, December 15.
He hinted that Jubal is “at the center of the storm” this time, and so is his son, Tyler (Caleb Reese Paul).
The double feature kicks off with “Lone Wolf,” which Sisto, 51, explained begins when the FBI team gets a tip about a crime, “which usually doesn’t lead us anywhere.”
He also disclosed that FBI analyst Kelly Moran (Taylor Anthony Miller) has a gut feeling about one of the calls and “heads out with our agents, only to discover three dead sex workers.”
As the episode progresses, the special agents realize that the murderer is tied to a “radical accelerationist movement bent on resetting society because it has become so corrupt.”
The actor noted that the terrorist group’s “scheme is extensive” and involves “disrupting cell and internet services,” complicating Jubal and the team’s investigation. “[It’s] incredibly frustrating to get disconnected, but even more so when you’re racing to prevent further chaos,” Sisto revealed.
“It escalates to a pretty drastic and dramatic threat,” Sisto explained to Us, mentioning that all agents grow “worried” about their families being “in the wrong place at the wrong time during an active threat.”
This threat resonates deeply with Jubal, whose teenage son is “in the city for the day with a friend” as the events unfold.
“[He’s] just hoping he’s not at the wrong place, at the wrong time,” Sisto remarked about his character’s storyline, urging fans to closely watch Tyler and his interactions with Jubal during both parts of the fall finale.

Sisto confirmed, “At the outset, you know something is about to get messy with this storyline,” hinting that in part two, titled “Wolf Pack,” the team must pursue the criminals without their usual communication resources available.
Despite the communication breakdown, Sisto mentioned that the team will strive to “scrutinize every inch” of New York City to track down the perpetrators — though it will not be without challenges.
“In this specific case, we don’t catch them quickly enough before some very severe consequences occur,” Sisto conveyed, hinting that Jubal’s personal connection to the situation will be part of the “bad stuff” that unfolds.
He teased that the second half of the fall finale focuses on “locating [the culprits] before even more terrible things transpire.”
“It’s certainly not a triumph throughout,” Sisto ominously cautioned. “That’s why it’s a two-hour narrative. There are some pretty significant losses along the way.”
FBI’s two-part fall finale will air on CBS Monday, December 15, at 8 p.m. ET. The show will return with new episodes in February 2026.
