Jersey Shore’s Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola Is Expecting a Baby!
Jersey Shore star Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola and her fiancé, Justin May, are excited to announce they are expecting their first child together.
“We have been keeping a little secret.. ✨ Baby May is due August 2025 ✨🤰🏻,” Giancola, 37, shared in a joint Instagram post with May on Sunday, February 23. “After facing years of infertility, this is the greatest blessing we could ever hope for!”
She continued, “We are overjoyed to finally share the news of our little miracle with everyone! Our hearts are filled with love, and we can’t wait to meet you, baby! 🫶🏼🥹💕.”
Along with her message, Giancola posted a series of pictures capturing the couple holding black-and-white ultrasound photos. The final image presented a teddy bear beneath a beach umbrella, next to a sign that said, “We’ve been keeping a secret. Baby May due August 2025.”
In a November 2024 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Giancola revealed that she had a miscarriage after IVF treatment.
“It has been an extensive process, filled with numerous shots and hormonal treatments,” Giancola disclosed during a confessional. “The mere thought of being pregnant felt magical, so having that taken away — it is heartbreaking.”
Giancola expressed her gratitude towards May for his unwavering support during this challenging time. “He is incredibly positive and uplifting,” she praised. “He means the world to me, and I’m so thankful for him. He has stood by my side throughout it all. I truly love him.”
Giancola experienced the pregnancy loss shortly before May proposed in 2024. “I am just in awe,” she shared during a confessional in the episode. “I’ve dreamed of this moment all my life. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
She added, “Justin’s entrance into my life has made everything so much better. He is everything I could have ever wished for in a partner. He’s patient, supportive, and I love and cherish him deeply.”
Giancola revealed her engagement to May in April 2024, proudly displaying her ring. “Life update: Fiancé. The simplest answer I’ve ever given,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m the happiest and luckiest girl in the world. I’ll love you forever, and beyond. I can’t wait to spend my life with you.”
