Jesse Solomon Shares Humorous Take on Dating His Newly Single Co-star Paige DeSorbo

Summer House star Jesse Solomon is attempting to inject humor into Paige DeSorbo’s recent split.
After a fun getaway to Colombia with friends, Solomon, 31, took to social media on Monday, January 27, to share a compilation of moments from the trip.
“Okay this dump is better,” DeSorbo, 32, remarked via Instagram after viewing her co-star’s photos.
A fan responded to the comment, sharing their hopes that DeSorbo might consider dating Solomon in the future: “@paige_desorbo @jessesols pls d8 <3,” they posted.
To this, Solomon responded, “@taylorpederson I know what jesse solomon would do.”
When he joined the cast of Summer House for its eighth season in 2023, Solomon faced some scrutiny for lightly flirting with DeSorbo while she was still with Craig Conover.
“I wouldn’t say Craig is a jealous person, but he has his moments,” DeSorbo confessed during a confessional segment at that time. “I want Craig to be friends with everyone I live with, so I don’t want him to think, ‘Oh, there’s the guy who likes my girlfriend.’”
In December 2024, DeSorbo confirmed she had ended her romantic relationship with Conover, 35, after three years of dating.
“I love him, and I think he loves me,” she stated on her and Hannah Berner’s “Giggly Squad” podcast. “I believe we will remain friends. There were no wrongdoings. It wasn’t an adverse situation. We were both mature enough to express what we want and don’t want, which is a powerful step in communicating feelings in real-time about future goals.”
Nearly a week later, Conover acknowledged the breakup through a heartfelt social media message, expressing gratitude for fans’ “kind messages” as he navigates his new single status.
“This has all been very, very unexpected to say the least,” he posted on Instagram on January 7. “But I guess I have to start living again, whatever that may look like. I need to figure out what my new normal entails.”
With season 9 of Summer House set to debut next month, fans will witness Solomon step into the house single and likely eager to connect. According to Bravo, he soon develops feelings for the new arrival, Lexi Wood.
Meanwhile, DeSorbo begins to reassess whether a future with Conover is still possible as her own career takes off with a podcast tour and the release of a new book.
Summer House returns to Bravo on Wednesday, February 12, at 9 p.m. ET, with previous seasons available for streaming on Peacock.
