Jimmy Presnell Shares His Experience with a $10K Hair Transplant Journey
Love Is Blind’s Jimmy Presnell revealed the cost of his hair transplant.
In a recent TikTok video, Jimmy, 29, opened up about his experience with the hair transplant while responding to a fan’s query.
“Will you ever make a video for cost and follow-up expenses during the process?” a fan asked, and Jimmy responded, “I mentioned that I chose to stay in the States for my procedure, which is usually a bit pricier.”
Visiting Solve Clinics Med Spa in Chicago, Jimmy shared that he paid “approximately $5 per graft” for “over 2,000” grafts, totaling around “$10,000 to $11,000.”
“Regarding follow-up expenses and ongoing treatments, those are all optional,” he explained, mentioning that he chose to undergo PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatments for faster healing. “Those typically cost between $400 and $600 per session.”

Jimmy mentioned that he thought about traveling to Turkey for his transplant, as many do for the lower price. Although the cost would have ranged from $3,000 to $5,000—including flights and accommodation—he wouldn’t have been able to have a follow-up discussion with his surgeon or ongoing support.
“They basically just send you home post-surgery. You don’t really develop any kind of relationship,” he clarified, adding that he visits his doctor every “two months” for follow-up appointments.
Throughout his hair transplant journey, Jimmy has kept his followers informed. Just one day post-procedure, he noted feeling swollen but not in pain.
In addition to his new hairline, Jimmy also underwent composite bonding for his front teeth to “elongate” his smile in March and used Invisalign for further straightening.
