Expecting mother Jinger Duggar and her spouse, Jeremy Vuolo, are tight-lipped about the name of their third child.
“Jeremy and I have chosen a name,” Duggar, 31, shared on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, February 8. “We always keep it under wraps until the baby arrives!”
Jinger, one of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 kids, announced in late 2024 that she is expecting a boy. Her baby is due in about a month.
“[We are] just seven weeks away from meeting our baby boy,” Jinger mentioned in a subsequent Instagram Story.
The Counting On alum and Vuolo, 37, are already parents to daughters Felicity, 6, and Evangeline, 4, who have not been involved in their parents’ naming discussions.
“The girls are unaware of the name we’ve decided on,” Jinger reported in another Instagram post on Saturday. “We plan to reveal it when he arrives. Felicity has been suggesting that a great name would be George Washington.”
Jinger and Vuolo, who married in 2016, are raising their children in Los Angeles, while most of her family remains in their native Arkansas. They have chosen to keep their little ones out of the spotlight.
“We discussed it for quite some time even before we had children and whether we wanted them to be in the public eye,” Jinger exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2023. “We decided to keep them out of the spotlight and allow them to make their own choices,” she added. “That’s our plan. Sometimes we may share pictures of the back of their heads or short clips where you can hear their little voices, but we intend to keep their faces off social media.”
The People Pleaser author has permitted Felicity and Evangeline to watch old episodes of her family’s 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On docuseries.
“I think it’s important because it was such a significant part of my life. I spent most of my childhood on TV,” Jinger told Us. “Even during this [book promotion] process, there have been a couple of crews coming into our home, and my 2-year-old would be playing in her playroom and would see cameras and get scared. … It’s interesting to reflect on, as that was my entire upbringing—I would play with boom mics and all of that, but she’s so unfamiliar with it. So it’s great to observe.”
