Joe Jonas Accidentally Hints at Camp Rock 3 Confirmation
Joe Jonas may have inadvertently hinted at the return of Camp Rock.
During his “Hot Ones Versus” interview with brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas on Tuesday, August 12, Joe, 35, was asked to read the latest note from his phone aloud, and his answer took his siblings by surprise.
“Read Camp Rock 3,” Joe stated, prompting Nick, 32, to stop and stare at the camera in shock while Kevin, 37, chuckled nervously.
“Alright, that’s a pretty good one,” Kevin replied.
“It’s the truth,” Joe asserted. “It’s literally right here.”
He added, “Sorry, Disney.”
The Jonas Brothers portrayed brothers Shane Gray (Joe), Nate Gray (Nick), and Jason Gray (Kevin) in the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock, where they played the fictional band Connect 3. The story follows Shane, a pop star with a troubled past, who becomes a dance instructor at Camp Rock to improve his image, but his perspective changes when he hears camper Mitchie Torres (played by Demi Lovato) sing and becomes determined to find her.
Joe, Nick, Kevin, and Lovato returned for Camp Rock: The Final Jam in 2010. While Shane and Mitchie developed a romance on-screen, Joe and Lovato also had a brief real-life relationship.

The Jonas Brothers and Lovato reunited on the first night of the band’s JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday, August 10. Fans were delighted when they performed a medley of songs from the Camp Rock movies, including “This Is Me,” “Gotta Find You,” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.”
“Thanks for having me @jonasbrothers 🫶,” Lovato shared along with a clip of their performance on Instagram.
Lovato also expressed her excitement during her guest appearance on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast on Tuesday.
“Honestly, Joe just asked me last week, [he] was like, ‘Hey, what are you doing next weekend? Or on the 10th, we would love to have you come perform ‘This Is Me’ and ‘Wouldn’t Change a Thing.’ You’ve been a huge part of our journey and vice versa,’” she said. “So he was like, ‘This show is really important to us, and we would love to have you there.’ It was such a wonderful experience. It was healing for me, too. We’ve been through so much together, the Jonas Brothers and I. Spending time with them was truly amazing.”
Lovato also expressed gratitude that Joe, Nick, and Kevin took the time to connect with her husband, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, who accompanied her to the concert.
“They thanked me for flying across the country to join them. It felt very thoughtful, and it was a healing moment for all of us. I cherished every second of it,” she added.
