Joe Jonas Unveils ‘Heart by Heart’ in Anticipation of Upcoming Solo Album

Joe Jonas premiered his latest track, “Heart by Heart,” on Thursday, April 24, utilizing the world’s oldest social network: the bar.

At an event hosted by Heineken at its “Off Socials Bar,” Jonas, 35, performed the song and filmed portions of its music video live. The event offered a humorous, offline alternative to the global obsession with social media and mobile devices.

“This is a really fun event; Heineken has been an incredible partner, and we created a really enjoyable campaign,” he shared with Us Weekly. “Tonight, we have a lot planned: enjoying a couple of Heinekens (responsibly), and I’ll also be performing my new song live. It’s going to be a great time. Let’s disconnect from social media and connect in person.”

Joining Jonas were influencers Seth Phillips (a.k.a. DudeWithSign), Yankees pitcher Luke Weaver, and Victoria’s Secret models Martha Hunt and Graice Carvalho, among others. The bar’s windows were styled to mimic Instagram Reels, prompting guests to share their experiences in real life.

“I chose to debut my new song offline and in-person because it felt like the perfect moment to return to what music truly embodies: connecting with people,” Jonas noted in a press release. “The audience was so genuine, so present, and completely immersed in the music — that’s something you can’t capture by watching on social media.”

“Heart by Heart” marks Jonas’ third single from his forthcoming album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, set to be released on May 23 after a postponement. Initially, Jonas planned to launch his second solo album last October.

“I loved the message behind it,” Jonas explained regarding “Heart by Heart” in an interview with Billboard published on Friday, April 25. “I felt a strong connection to it, so we made some adjustments, and I recorded it last year during the summer or fall. We held onto the song for a bit. It felt like the right choice to be the next single from my album, so I’m presenting it in a way that resonates with where I am in my life and reflects the emotional journey I’m on.”

While Jonas is gearing up for his album release, he’s also collaborating closely with his brothers on the Jonas Brothers’ seventh studio album, Greetings From Your Hometown, expected in August. The trio will also kick off a 20th-anniversary tour that same month, starting at MetLife Stadium in their home state of New Jersey.

They announced the upcoming tour in a heartfelt letter to fans via Instagram in February, expressing their gratitude for two decades of support.

“We wake up each day feeling thankful that you’ve been part of this 20-year journey with us,” they wrote. “Together, we’ve celebrated victories, made mistakes, faced challenges, and mourned losses. To put it simply: we’ve all grown up together.”
