John Tucker Must Die Cast: What Are They Up To Today?
Almost two decades have passed since John Tucker Must Die revealed the repercussions of meddling in the romantic lives of high school girls.
This 2006 revenge romantic comedy follows Heather (Ashanti), Beth (Sophia Bush), and Carrie (Arielle Kebbel) as they plot to take down John (Jesse Metcalfe) upon discovering that he was dating all three of them simultaneously. They enlist the help of new girl Kate (Brittany Snow) to make him fall in love, only to shatter his heart. This way, he’d truly understand their pain.
The film — boasting a fantastic supporting cast that includes Jenny McCarthy, Taylor Kitsch, and Penn Badgley — quickly became a beloved favorite as soon as it premiered. Even after nearly 15 years, Metcalfe still encounters fans who recognize him from the film.
“I didn’t think much of the movie while we were filming, but it’s amazing that it has turned into a bit of a cult classic for teen comedies,” he shared in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in October 2020. “It’s interesting how it gets passed down, perhaps from older siblings to their younger ones. I think that’s really cool. People still find it funny! It is funny. I feel honored.”
