Joy Taylor Dismissed from FS1 After Shocking Lawsuit Emerges

Fox Sports host Joy Taylor has been let go amid a significant network reshuffling following prolonged behind-the-scenes issues.

Taylor’s daily sports talk program, Speak, has been discontinued and her contract has not been extended after over ten years with the network, as reported by The Athletic.

Since September 2022, she co-hosted Speak, most recently alongside former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson and former NBA superstar Paul Pierce.

FS1 has also axed The Facility, featuring former NFL players Emmanuel Acho, Chase Daniel, James Jones, and LeSean McCoy, as well as Breakfast Ball, hosted by Craig Carton, Mark Schlereth, and Danny Parkins.

According to The Athletic, all three shows struggled to attract a large audience, leading to their cancellation.

Us Weekly has reached out to Fox Sports and Taylor for comments.

These cancellations follow approximately six months after Taylor, 38, was implicated in a sexual assault and discrimination lawsuit that also named Fox Sports and former host Skip Bayless.

In a lawsuit filed in January by former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji, it was alleged that Taylor told Faraji to “get over it” when she confided that she had been groped at Taylor’s birthday celebration in 2017.

Faraji also accused Taylor of ridiculing her accent and complaining about her humming, which the lawsuit described as “an involuntary subconscious coping mechanism for [Faraji’s] diagnosed PTSD.”

Taylor has denied all allegations outlined in the lawsuit.

In a statement provided to The Athletic in February, a spokesperson for Taylor asserted that including her name in the lawsuit was a tactic to generate publicity.

“The claims against Ms. Taylor lack any merit and appear intentionally crafted to attract unwarranted attention rather than to seek genuine redress,” the spokesperson stated.

As Aaron Rodgers celebrated his unexpected wedding, sports personality Skip Bayless was not keen on extending his congratulations to the happy couple. On Tuesday, June 10, Bayless, 73, took to social media to suggest that Rodgers, 41, had ulterior motives for disclosing his recent marriage “a couple months […]

The spokesperson further stated, “Ms. Taylor refutes each and every accusation against her as outlined in the Plaintiff’s Complaint, particularly those alleging any misconduct, liability, or claim for relief.”

Bayless, 73, has been accused of offering Faraji $1.5 million to engage in sexual relations.

Faraji claimed that Bayless would also give her “lingering hugs and kisses on the cheek while putting his body against hers and pressing against her breasts.”

A response presented by Bayless’ attorney asserted that Faraji “consented, through words or actions” to the alleged behavior. It also contended that Faraji was not entitled to any damages to the extent that any claimed emotional distress or pain and suffering were a result of pre-existing psychological or medical conditions.
