Justin Bieber’s Mysterious Instagram Message on Loyalty, Love, and Fear
Justin Bieber has shared an intriguing message about loyalty.
“‘Loyalty’ is a form of manipulative language,” the 31-year-old “Peaches” singer reflected in a thoughtful Instagram post on Tuesday, June 3.
“Loyalty is a responsibility, it’s an obligation,” he went on. “That isn’t free will. Love is not a responsibility. Love is a joy.”
Bieber remarked: “Please refrain from using loyalty to keep people around you due to your own fears … it’s causing us pain.”
“Members of the mafia use loyalty to retain people in their ranks,” Bieber expressed. “Let’s not continue to use this manipulative language.”
“Love above loyalty forever,” the artist concluded.
While Bieber didn’t provide further context for his impactful post, he has shared similar profound messages with his 294 million followers in recent months. Earlier that Tuesday, he shared another post reminding fans, “God decides what we deserve.”
Sticking to the theme of love, Bieber recently showcased his affection for his wife, Hailey Bieber, 28, after e.l.f. Beauty acquired her successful skincare line, Rhode, in a deal valued at approximately $1 billion.
As news of the sale spread on Wednesday, May 28, Bieber posted images of him hugging a beaming Hailey and kissing her on the cheek. He also shared a screenshot of the beauty mogul’s Instagram post regarding the Rhode sale, which has been operating for just three years.
“When I launched @rhode in 2022, I always envisioned big things for the brand,” Hailey expressed on social media earlier that day. “Therefore, I am thrilled and proud to announce our partnership with e.l.f. Beauty as we enter this exciting new chapter.”
She continued: “I discovered a like-minded innovator that shares my vision for a distinctive company that embraces bold ideas and innovation, which will aid us in expanding the brand.”
After expressing gratitude to her team and fans, Hailey wrapped up her caption with: “This is merely the beginning.”
Bieber and Hailey exchanged vows in September 2018 and are parents to their son, Jack, born in August 2024.
In a recent interview with Vogue, Hailey addressed the rumors surrounding her marriage.
“It’s not true,” she informed the outlet about the majority of headlines. “And the reality is: I have a genuine life. My real life consists of waking up to my lovely family, my son, my friends, and I have people who truly know and love me, and whom I love in return.”
