Justin Hartley Hints at Heartfelt Reunion with Wife Sofia Pernas in Tracker
Justin Hartley and his wife Sofia Pernas are set to ignite not only excitement but also emotional depth in their upcoming reunion on Tracker.
Hartley shared insights on what viewers can look forward to in the next episode, revealing to TV Insider on February 16, “She just wrapped filming last week. Something significant occurs between them; he asks her for a favor. She doesn’t recall owing him, so he has to jog her memory. Ultimately, she steps in and delivers exactly what he needed.”
While Hartley withheld specific plot details, he hinted that their much-anticipated reunion would advance the storyline of Colter and Billie’s relationship.
“By the end, he realizes perhaps he asked for too much. They share a beautifully honest, pure, and raw moment,” Hartley remarked. “You uncover more about their connection—not everything that occurred, but that something impactful did happen, and it’s quite unfortunate.”
Hartley didn’t dismiss the possibility of a romantic rekindling between the characters, stating, “Will they rebuild? There are deep feelings and strong emotions present. You’ll see it in this episode — I believe it’s [season] 2, [episode] 15.”
In another part of the interview, Hartley was asked if more of his former This Is Us co-stars would be guest-starring on his successful CBS series.
“We will have more. It’s amusing how, after being in this industry for a long time, it hit me while working on Tracker. I thought, ‘Wow, I’ve been around!’ You build these relationships and can call upon friends who otherwise wouldn’t participate,” he explained. “It’s fantastic to have such remarkable people join us. You’ll see many familiar faces and prominent TV names come on and perform exceptionally in our show, which elevates it significantly.”
Tracker, which debuted in February 2024, follows a survivalist named Colter (Hartley) as he traverses the nation solving various mysteries. Hartley’s role as an executive producer has allowed him to surprise audiences with exciting guest appearances, including Pernas, Melissa Roxburgh, Jensen Ackles, Jennifer Morrison, and others.
Hartley first collaborated with Pernas on The Young and The Restless back in 2015. Years later, they reconnected outside of work and tied the knot in 2021. In addition to Tracker, they also teamed up for the short-lived Quantum Leap reboot.
“She’s incredible. Honestly, if I could choose, I’d spend every minute with her,” Hartley expressed to Us Weekly in July 2024. “It’s amazing when you find someone who means so much to you, whom you’re proud to be with and admire. Watching her work is a joy; she’s such a talented actress. She elevates every scene, which makes my job easier. Working with her is truly wonderful.”
