The Princess of Wales captivated onlookers once again on Thursday evening as she attended the VE Day concert with her husband, Prince William.
The 43-year-old royal impressed fans in a chic all-white outfit from Self-Portrait, which featured a belt and a fitted waist. She completed her look with a beautiful four-strand pearl necklace from Susan Caplan, her vintage Chanel bag, and a pair of Gianvito Rossi nude pumps for the solemn occasion.
Did you notice her makeup? This year, the 43-year-old royal has been embracing a more natural makeup style, opting for clean skin, softly defined brows, and minimal eye makeup, paired with a light, neutral lip color.
However, during the concert, her look appeared to be more pronounced and slightly darker, especially around her brows and eyes.

Maria explained, “Recently, Kate has been opting for bolder makeup, featuring darker eyeshadows and more pronounced highlighters. This change has surprised many royal fans used to her typical understated look.
“This may represent a personal transformation for Kate. While she has long been associated with warmth, grace, and a relatable image—traits that have influenced her makeup style—this doesn’t fully capture the strength and authority of the future Queen. A darker, smokier eye could symbolize her rebranding as she approaches her future role.

Maria also noted, “This may suggest that her makeup team is adjusting their approach to suit her age. Heavier eye makeup can help balance the look of smaller eyes as they age, while highlighter enhances bone structure.
