Kim Kardashian Captures Elizabeth Taylor’s Essence at Balenciaga Runway Show

Kim Kardashian savored the final moments of Demna Gvasalia’s tenure at Balenciaga.

Kardashian, aged 44, took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 9, to showcase her appearance at Balenciaga’s Haute Couture fashion show in Paris, marking Gvasalia’s last runway presentation as the brand’s creative director. For the Parisian event, Kardashian dazzled in a look reminiscent of the late Elizabeth Taylor, who passed away at the age of 79 in 2011. She sported a champagne silk dress with spaghetti straps, intricate lace details, a fitted bodice, and a flowing column midi skirt.

She elevated her look with a luxurious fur coat draped elegantly over her shoulders, complemented by shiny pointed-toe heels.

Kardashian added a touch of sparkle with earrings that belonged to Taylor herself. She paired the stunning jewelry with additional diamonds from Lorraine Schwartz, including a captivating diamond drop necklace and a matching choker.

For her glam look, Kardashian opted for a complete makeup beat, thanks to her go-to glam team, makeup artist Ariel Tejada and hairstylist Chris Appleton.

Her makeup featured rosy cheek hues, perfectly filled-in eyebrows, bronzy eyeshadow blended into her crease with an earthy brown shade beneath her eyes, complemented with mascara and soft pink lips. Her brunette locks were styled in Old Hollywood-inspired curls, parted to the side with face-framing pieces gracefully falling over her forehead.
