Kim Kardashian Showcases Her Four Puppies Amidst PETA Criticism
Kim Kardashian proudly showcases her family’s four new puppies, regardless of PETA’s stance.
“Welcome to the fam,” Kardashian, 45, captioned an Instagram post featuring her adorable Pomeranians on Friday, March 6.
Two images display the cute pups — two with shiny black coats, one with a creamy hue, and another with sable fur — cuddling together on a couch. Many of Kardashian’s well-known social media followers were charmed by their cuteness.
“Omg. They’re so cute,” Vanessa Bryant commented, while close family friend Khadijah Haqq McCray remarked: “They’re so cute, they almost don’t seem real!”

Kardashian first revealed the puppies on Christmas Day, gifting each of her four children a Pomeranian for the holidays. (Kardashian and her ex-husband Kanye West share four kids: North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 6.)
“Each kid got a puppy,” she shared via her Instagram Story on December 25, 2025.
The All’s Fair actress uploaded several videos of her children playing with the Pomeranians on Christmas morning, including one with two of the puppies sharing an adorable kiss.
However, not everyone celebrated the furry additions to the Kardashian household. PETA cofounder Ingrid Newkirk criticized Kardashian’s choice, emphasizing that “puppies are not plush toys.”
“It’s a shame that Kim missed the opportunity to be a spokesperson for shelter animals,” Newkirk, 76, told the Daily Mail in December. “Disregarding the homeless animal crisis is a serious issue.”
Newkirk urged Kardashian to “consult PETA or a local shelter next time” she seeks a pet.
“[She could] start making amends by sending [her] kids to volunteer at a local shelter or funding a local shelter adoption event,” Newkirk suggested.
Kardashian has not publicly addressed the criticism from PETA.
In other news, Kardashian has been frequently seen with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton over the past few months. Us Weekly reported in February that Kardashian and Hamilton, 41, have “gone on a few dates recently” while keeping things “casual.”
“She feels ready to re-enter the dating scene after everything she’s experienced,” a source revealed to Us in early February. “Everyone around her is eager for her happiness.”
In February, Hamilton and Kardashian enjoyed their first significant outing together watching the Seattle Seahawks defeat the New England Patriots during Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Us was informed earlier this month that Kardashian and Hamilton have been spending more time together lately, including a trip to Arizona, as their schedules became more flexible.
“Their schedules aligned for a break, so they took the opportunity to travel together and deepen their connection,” an insider noted. “Things are progressing well, and Kim enjoys her time with Lewis.”
The source emphasized that Kardashian is “taking it slow” with Hamilton since he’s “the first person she’s been romantically involved with in a significant period.” (Kardashian dated Pete Davidson from 2021 to 2022 and Odell Beckham Jr. from 2023 to 2024 following her 2021 divorce from West, 48.)
“Lewis is an exceptional guy who treats her well and plans their dates thoughtfully,” the source mentioned to Us this month. “Everyone close to her finds it sweet and thinks it’s well-deserved for Kim. She has a more relaxed vibe in all aspects of her life now. Her mindset has shifted; she’s allowing things to develop naturally.”
