Kim Kardashian’s 2025 Met Gala Look: North West’s True Impressions
Kim Kardashian places great importance on her daughter’s views.
The 44-year-old Kardashian shared insights with Vogue’s red carpet livestream host Emma Chamberlain regarding North West’s fashion perspectives during the 2025 Met Gala, which took place on May 5 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
“Each time I attend the Met, I love to bring my eldest daughter along,” Kardashian, who co-parents North, 11, with ex-husband Kanye West, said, mentioning she had a relaxed day preparing.
“She gets to see me get ready, surrounded by all her aunties in the hotel, and we’re all getting ready together, so it’s just a fun few days.”
Chamberlain inquired about the “greatest lesson” North has imparted to her regarding the fashion industry.
“She’s quite the critic, but her feedback is valuable,” Kardashian explained. “Currently, she’s in such a positive space, saying, ‘Even if that’s not my style, I won’t critique it because just be yourself; if you like it, then it’s perfect for you.’”
Kardashian remarked: “I love that energy; she was such a positive presence tonight, and it felt wonderful.”
While North is being kinder to her mom now, she had critiqued her 2023 Met Gala outfit during a season 4 episode of The Kardashians.
Back then, Kardashian wore a pearl Schiaparelli creation, which North wasn’t particularly fond of.
In response, Kardashian told North that the pearls were “very expensive” and asked her daughter to be “gentle” with her feedback.
North then asserted her stance, saying, “I won’t lie. I’ll hold back my thoughts if you prefer, but I won’t be dishonest.”
