Kim Zolciak Displeased with Ariana Biermann’s Discussion on Family Finances (Exclusive)

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak is “not pleased” that her daughter Ariana Biermann has been publicly discussing their family’s financial struggles, an exclusive source tells Us Weekly.

“Discussing such personal issues seems illogical to her,” the insider shares with Us. “Kim has remained silent since her divorce, and she is not fond of making her family matters public. She is confused as to why Ariana is bringing it up.”

Ariana, 23, is one of the daughters of estranged couple Kim, 47, and Kroy Biermann. The couple, who separated in 2023, are currently facing a protracted divorce and share Brielle, 28, KJ, 14, Kash, 12, and twins Kaia and Kane, both 11. (Brielle and Ariana are Kim’s daughters from a previous relationship, which Kroy, now 39, adopted upon marrying the Bravo star.)

Ariana is currently featured on Bravo’s Next Gen NYC, showcasing her new life in New York City. In a recent episode, she alleged that she has been financially supporting her family since her teenage years.

“Regrettably, my parents utilized my earnings,” Ariana claimed in a June episode. “I can’t specify what they spent it on because I only found out two years ago that it was gone. I’m unaware of how much money I earned during that time. There was a lack of honesty and transparency, and I have no idea where it actually went.”

Ariana later explained that she had informed Kim and Kroy in advance about discussing their financial situation during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen later that month.

“My mom only asks me for money when it’s related to bills or something she needs for the kids,” Ariana clarified to host Andy Cohen, emphasizing that Kim does repay her “when she can.”

According to Ariana, the tension between her and Kim has subsided.

“No one wants to find themselves in such situations. My mom will always be my best friend, no matter what,” Ariana stated. “Money should never jeopardize family relationships. You can always earn more, and we are blessed in that way. Having my mom is what truly matters.”

Ariana is now concentrating on rebuilding her savings.

“I am focused on earning my own money, supporting myself as a 23-year-old, and seizing every opportunity to rebuild my finances,” she disclosed to Us ahead of the Next Gen NYC premiere. “I feel like I’m in the best financial position I’ve ever been, which is fantastic.”

She added, “My mom is doing well too. She is working hard and has many great things happening for her, and my dad is also working, so everything is heading in the right direction.”
